Stayed here one night after a cruise in Oct '12. As soon as we found the front door locked and had to be buzzed in, I knew we were in trouble. The reception area is the size of my master bedroom. The elevator is so...More
We found Hotel Boria BCN via Trip Advisor and Expedia. The reviews were mostly good on both sites and the photos appealing. The rate was acceptable for where we wanted to be in the city.

Thr hotel was about a 10/15 minute walk from the aerobus. Which was good and it wasn't too hard to find. It has a really contempory feel for being soo close to the gothic quarter. It is off a side street but not far down...More

The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants
ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.

There is not a bath and it does have a small kitchen. But the stove has been disconnected so you can not use it. We asked why thinking we could save some money as a family of five by cooking in house. We were told that it's a hotel room now. Something to do with the law. Before it was an apartment. Also the fridge does not get very cold quickly. Hope this helps.
