This hotel was clean and in a convenient location. It was within walking distance of the Sagrada Familia, and very close to a metro station. Also, it has the best shower out of our entire Spain experience. The shower has a very good pressure with a unit that has different spray options. :) However, there was nothing special to say...

Hotel is very small. Staff is nice but not overly helpful. Close to a good metro line. Rooms were not great, clean but tasteless, more of a three star variety. Some minor maintenance issues. Overall if u can get a good rate I'd stay but I wouldn't consider the hotel a 4 star. Closer to 3.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in August. Would definately reccomend it. To anyone wanting to arrive at the hotel with minimum struggle, the metro that is just outside is the MONUMENTAL stop! If only we'd known this prior to arrival!

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for two nights in August 2010. We arrived at the hotel around 12pm. The front desk staff was friendly. The very first question she asked was if we wanted to upgrade our room for an additional 30 euro per night. After we told her no she assigned us a room on the...

The hotel is great. Very comfortable beds. Nice bathroom. Fantastic staff. Just a few steps to the metro. Very close to Sagrada Familia, shops, cafes, etc. My only complaint is that the internet didn't work the entire time we were there. I booked the hotel in part because of the free internet for guests. It was a feature I expected...

This hotel is only five minutes from Sagrada Familia, and close to the Metro and the tourist buses, so ideally placed. The staff were excellent, especially Nuria, who had plenty of advice.

Hard to find, with a very anonomus facade. The hotel is just 100 meters from the metro, also near buses. Close to the market. We didn't try the hotels breakfast, so we can't say anything about that. The room was with a modern touch and very nice, the view to Sagrada Familie was nice. Very good value for money. We...

This Hotel is very Nice, just 5m from the Sagrada Familia Cathedral. The Subway entrance is just in front of the Hotel door. It has free internet access on the Looby, the rooms are very nice with a great view to the sagrada Familia. Defenitly recommended

This hotel was a real treat. It's in a great location, just blocks away from la sagrada familia and steps away from the metro stop. It's very comfortable, modern and affordable. This was my first time staying at Eurostars and I am sold. Plasma tv, free wifi and environmental controls (no power if you're not in the room) are great...

We got an amazingly cheap deal on our room at wotif.com, otherwise would not have fit this into our budget! The large room was gorgeous, with beautiful furnishings, art and a great modern bathroom. (could not work out how to use massage setting in shower!) We had a view of the Sagrada Familia. Located on a long, busy street, there...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
