It's a great place, very social. Every night there is a pub crawl. The girls who lead it are awesome and make sure we also have a good time. They also cook amazing food for dinner at 4 euros or less it's spectacular. Highly recommended.

Good location, just across a supermarket, friendly staff, clean premises, towels and breakfast available for a premium. I would recommend to stay in this hostel without any hesitation! You'll have a good time.

This place is great! I stayed here two nights and had a really nice time. The hostel has organised pub crawls every night which joins up with other hostels in the area. The rooms are good and spacious, they have a dining area, chill out areas and a kitchen and laundry. I would say the toilets are a bit small... More

There's a real homely welcome feel to this hostel, staff are really friendly and helpful. It's a party hostel with pub crawls every night. It's in a good location and most things are walkable but also there is a bus stop right outside and metro station no too far away. I found the room a bit cramped, there was nowhere... More

Best hostel I have yet to stay at! It was a little pricier as my friends and I got a private but it was well worth it. Beds and showers were clean, staff was so friendly and helpful, they have what I call "family dinners" every night where you pay 3-4€ and eat paella or pasta with fellow hostel members.... More

This probably the most welcoming and friendly hostels I’ve been to so far. The rooms and facilities are generally pretty nice, I’d give that a 4/5. However where this place really shines is the environment; between perks like offering breakfast for 3 euro and the nightly free trips to clubs around Barca (where people from the hostel lead a group... There was only one nice staf member - a big biger portuguese guy! The other one with glasses from Brasil was very mean for me and my friend. The other one turned of my movie while I was watching it without saying a word, just to turn on his own music. Weird atmosphere. Nice lockers though.

Great hostel! Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Toilets were always clean as well. Staff were fab! Always helpful and friendly. Pedro is really cool as well ;) Common areas were great for making friends. The dinners every night makes a nice way to get everyone together. Club/ Pub crawl includes nothing except simply taking you to bars and very... More

I stayed in Sant Jordi Alberg for 4 days and it was a great experience overall. They have nightly dinner from 4 to 6 euros (feijoada, chicken, paella) depending on the night. They also have really nice bar crawls nightly and great crowd to meet people while in Barcelona. They have dryer and washer on site and the staff is... More

Sant Jordi is a dream hostel. Its prices are low for what it offers: unique atmosphere, cool and friendly people, especially in the face of the best staff eveeeer, amazing activities range ( night outs, dinners, free tours), central location. In Sant Jordi you don't need a travel companion, because you inevitably meet new friends there. It's impossible to not... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
