Barcino 147 deserves five stars. The hospitality, location, security, cleanliness, and comfort make this a great place to stay. The staff helped us avoid long lines at major sites by arranging for on line purchases of tickets. They provided laundry service for us, immediately took care of an air conditioning problem, and kept plenty of breakfast foods available when week...

Brilliantly located, very helpful informative staff Ruxy and Antonio, - and I was there for the superb 11 September a Catalan day. The staff are a credit to Ferran, the owner, and deserve a bonus! Rooms stunningly renovated, great wifi etc etc.... Best wishes and hope to be back. Mark, Blue Dive Port Douglas.

The apt/suits are very artistic decorated, and they are about 2 mins away from each other, but both located at an excellent location with walking distances to many places in the center of Barcelona, such as catalunya (also is where the airport bus drop off/pick up place), and from catalunya, you can either take train or walk to many different...

Chose this based on other TA reviews and were not disappointed. We stayed in the Goya double room on level 2 for 3 nights. Breakfast was very good, the room was quiet and comfortable, and on our last night we had the whole place to ourselves - just like having our own private city center apartment! Excellent location to walk...

This B&B is on 2 floors of an old building - 2nd and 6th floors. I was told that the 2nd floor is best because of extra space in the breakfast room. We stayed in the Montserrat room (although had booked the Picasso) which is a large room with plenty of space including a large couch / sofa. The bathroom...

We booked this bnb just as we were due to leave Heathrow and head to Barcelona We found it on trip advisor and booked through booking.com We tried to book direct but had no response from the property. It was only a 10 minute walk maximum from placa da catalunya and the place the airport bus drops you off at....

This B&B is beautifully located right by Catalunya Plaza, with access to the Metro, hop-on hop-off buses, Aerobus, and taxis. Ferran is a great host, and we got amazing recommendations for places to eat as well as what to see. He even booked us a reservation for dinner one night. The rooms are charming and clean. Overall, an amazing place...

My primary reason for staying at B&Bs is that you get a level of service you simply don't get at hotels, at least not for the price. Barcino met my expectations of a B&B perfectly. Ferran and Roxy are incredibly friendly and helpful and brimming with much local information and travel tips. Every time Roxy saw us, she checked to...

I stayed for the second time at this pretty and well serviced little B&B in the heart of Barcelona. It has been some years since my last visit and I must say that things have improved a lot. Not that there was anything wrong before, but one can tell that the staff and owner are more experienced now. Everything works...

I will definitely go back. The low key, eclectic environment, big rooms and location are all big pluses. What really stood out was how friendly and helpful Roxy and Ferran are. We were a party of 6 needing 4 rooms at different times and they accommodated us with great flexibility. All the rooms were interesting, clean and well appointed. Highly...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
