Stayed here for 8 nights. Overall I think it is a good budget option in Barcelona, which are not easy to find. But if you compare it to quality experienced in budget hotels in europe it is merely average.

If you don't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money, but you want to be in a good, clean location in Barcelona, this is a great place to stay. The woman who greeted up was very pleasant and willing to recommend places to eat...More
Amazing location. At check in, great service and very helpful member of staff willing to give his time and knowledge. Rooms are modern and classy. Clean and bright -we got free upgrade to room with a balcony. Music system in rooms where you can plug...More
Location is very close to Universitat metro and Aerobus stop, and central to the best neighbourhoods.
All-day self-serve cold breakfast is nice, though it's no smorgasbord.
Uncomfortable bed. Thin, springy, uneven.
Dirty room. The all-white, minimalist sanitarium chic decor looks dirty easily.

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.

The reception isn't there.. at all! It's open 24h but in a different hotel about 1 block away.
You should probably contact them and ask for the address, then you can go directly there for the check-in.
