At first glance the accommodation is super basic and aesthetically unpleasing BUT I stayed here for more than a week. The accommodation is good value for money, the staff is super helpful and friendly, the beds perfect and the shower perfect with very good water presure. Fridge, microwave, iron and kettle are available on request. Bring own coffee for your room. The acc is near Lesseps station and in walking distance from Parc Guell. There are other areas that have nicer open public spaces and outdoor cafes. The one plus point is that there is a no noise rule from 23h00 to07h00 so that really adds to a sense of tranquility.

You can tell the quality of a place for the helpfulness of the staff. The hotel cares more about profit than the quality of the stay of its guests. Please keep reading for some background information about my comments. I booked the hotel via a booking website and from past experiences I usually book non refundable rooms. This time I was very unfortunate to having to change my bookings because of Covid. The hotel didn't want to change my original booking and I had to get in touch with the Booking website to make it possible. My passport was about to expire in three months so I was uncertain when I could rebook my hotel for, but given that I only have a couple of days to do it, I contacted the embassy to get an appointment and asked how long it would take to get a new passport. The embassy told me it would be 4 weeks from my appointment so I rebook the hotel for 8 weeks after my appointment just in case. The day of my booking was coming but I still had no passport, I contacted the embassy and they told me there have been delays and I wouldn’t get my passport for 4 months. I tried to change my hotel booking once more but the hotel did not want to do it. When I contacted the booking website (with different staff this time) they couldn’t help me either so I lost the money I paid for the booking. I take responsibility for my mistake of booking a non refundable room but I did not want my money back, I just wanted to change the date. I did not expect my passport not to be ready, it was out of my hands and I could not physically go. It would have not cost anything to the hotel to change the date but instead they just wanted to take my payment despite my misfortune. You can tell the quality of a place for the helpfulness of the staff. The hotel cares more about profit than the quality of the stay of its guests.

Staying one night only in Barcelona, this hostel was a great find. On coming in, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, answering all our questions and helping us get grounded in the city. Our room was simple but clean, with everything we could need. The bathroom was lovely, great temperature, and the balcony a wonderful thing to have (the parakeets outside not so much, but that's not something that the staff can help!). Breakfast was okay in the morning, but the value and the location couldn't be beaten. The only downside was that my bed kept moving along the floor when I lent against the back wall - slightly annoying, but nothing major.

Good location and friendly staff. However rooms lack of basic cleaning. Afraid of sitting on sofa full of dirt and spots. Bathroom could also appreciate better cleaning. Breakfast room staff cannot catch up with cleaning tables.

First of all, don't book that place if you think that it's a hotel, because it's not! It's a linda student residence, no my words, até words of the girl working on reception. Staff don't respect clients and won't do their job properly. Especially night watchman called Mario! That man has no understanding of working with people and humanity at all. Bullying young clients and threaten clients. I wrote that review just for people to be aware that they are not going to be able to relax and take a rest as they planned during their vacation because of unfriendly and incompetent workers of that place (don't know how to call it, because it's neither hotel, nor hostel nor nothing).

• Travelers: Couple, Age 26 and 34 Years, 5 days Stay. • Type of Room: Twin Room • Review: Very well located and VERY CLEAN place, a few meters away from L3 LESSEPS metro Station, which will take you to the most of the MUST places to see in Barcelona, kind of far for the airport however it is not an issue having the metro just a few steps from the residence. We had a bad experience (not a big deal) at night with the Air Conditioning that because of the hour (2100 Hrs.) there were not able to solve it until the next day, I don’t know if the lady in the desk (24th August/night shift) was on a bad mood or what happened, but she was a little bit rude stating that there are unforeseen situations (totally understandable) and we need to respect the work hours of the technicians and an emergency call was not possible, basically we needed to wait until the next day, so basically we had to sleep without AC and the windows opened, it was not a big issue as the weather was cool, despite this situation the managed to solve it properly and they changed the room on the next day and the issue was solved in less than 24 hours. Customer service? I want to express my gratitude and congratulate “Prietie” (I don’t know if I expelled it correctly) and the lady with light color eyes and short hair, they have a really good sense of customer service and attitude. • Remarks: NOTE that the bad situation we went through is something that can happen to anyone and at any time, is totally understandable, the explanation of the lady was totally clear and based on facts however, the way she was addressing was a little bit rude or I can say different from ALL the travels I have made before, but as I mentioned, I keep the very, VERY good customer service and attitude from the other ladies, which was great and the attitude of one person would not affect my review. • Location: Carrer del Torrent de l'Olla, 212, 08012 Barcelona, Spain, Ph. +34 934 15 12 03 • Amenities: Solarium, Laundry room, Bike parking spot, Restaurant, Concierge. • Services: Front Desk (24/7), Very good information services and sense of locations, they explain you how to go to the different places you could be interested to.

If you want to stay somewhere cheaper, near to center (short ride- if you enjoy longer walks it's doable), clean, quiet it is perfect place. Basic rooms but this is what you need for short break in Barcelona. Just a few stops from La Rambla, Ghotic Quater, 15 min walk from Park Guell. Breakfast available (5e)- scramble egg, sausages or bacon, tomatoes, some sweats, ham, cheese, jams etc. Shops around the corner. Generally very chappy!

Very basic room, but sheets and towels were clean, and beds fairly comfortable. AC was temperamental, but did do the job! Nice balcony in the room, which was lovely to sit in the evenings. Breakfast was extremely basic, limited juice and milk, no breakfast tea either!
