Stayed in the hotel during a business/leisure trip. Although the rooms are on the small side the location was great and all the main sites of interest in the city are walking distance away.

The stay at the hotel was enjoyable. Our room was clean and comfortable but disappointed to find only walk in shower without the bath as advertised. Despite fronting onto a very busy road the triple glazing gave us a reasonably quiet night.

The hotel itself is very basic with small rooms yet clean and the staff is friendly and helpful ... the best thing is its location as its close to the centre within walking distance to las ramblas and plaza Catalunya.
We have just got back from a stay at Sunotel and had the most fantastic time.
The airport shuttle stops about 100 metres away from the hotel, at the university, which is very convenient. The hotel is also a short walk from Las Rambles.

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.

on arrival we got off the bus at Catalunya and we had a bit of a walk to find our hotel . What I would suggest is that you get off the stop before at the University . Walk up the Carrer Muntaner until it meets Carrer Valencia . The hotel is just round the corner. Easiest way to get around the attractions is to get the metro at Hospital Clinic which is five minutes away . It is by far the best way to see everything . When you get on the aerobus you will be given a free map of the city which is really helpful to see where everything is . Hope you have a wonderful time 😊
