For us the location is ideal. We come to Barcelona several times a year and this is in between the tourist neghborhoods and the local neighborhoods. A walk to the beach is far but doable and you can also walk to Eixample in a few minutes. After our first two nights we transferred to an airbnb and boy that was a mistake. This ended up being more affordable and the rooms were cleaner and more comfortable not to mention a large powerful shower. The wine and cocktails downstairs are great and both pools are trendy. I wil have to come in Summer when i can actually use them.

What a wonderful hotel this is. We spent one night at the H10 metropolitan and wished we’d been able to stay several more. The whole hotel screams style and quiet luxury. The rooms are not large but they are superbly appointed with every amenity you may wish for (although the weighing scales in the bathroom, a first, are maybe superfluous in Barcelona!). We had a room with a balcony giving onto the back of the building, complete with chairs, table and blankets in case of a chill. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom superb, with double sinks, fluffy towels, rain shower and toiletries from Rituals. The breakfast was divine with a large buffet and hot dishes cooked to order. The staff were all charming and efficient. It truly was a joy to stay here.

Very clean, comfortable hotel. Helpful, friendly and professional staff. Even though I arrived early (8am), they were able to have a room for me ready by 10am so that I could check in and freshen up before my guided tour. I felt very safe and comfortable staying here and I enjoyed the little treats left in my room each night. The hotel is also close to shopping and dining options. Another positive thing about this hotel is its location to Plaza Catalunya, only one block away! I also loved the little balcony overlooking the street. Looking forward to staying here again on my next trip to Barcelona.

This hotel is in a renovated historical building. The rooms may seem small for North Americans, but they are excellently appointed with updated furnishings. I needed an accessible room which was a bit larger than the bulk of the rooms in the hotel, but it lacked an outside balcony. This may have been a blessing because the street outside the hotel is very "lively" at all hours, and my room was quiet. If possible, people booking here should try to get a breakfast option with their room. the breakfast is excellent, but it is very expensive unless booked with a package. Compared to the many restaurants in the area, a la carte, it is 3-4 times more expensive. There is also a bar with a limited (but high quality) evening menu. I was here in February so swimming in the attractive outdoor pools was not possible, but in the summer these pools are in a garden setting and are very pleasant. The location could not be more central and more exciting for exploring Barcelona. There is so much within walking distance, with buses and the metro within minutes, it was a perfect place for tourism. The staff was really the highlight of my stay. They were kind, accommodating, pleasant, and ready to help in every way. I would gladly return to the hotel only for the excellent staff. Let me advise travelers to monitor the price of this (and the other H10 hotels) closely. In the month before I arrived, the price for the rooms varied wildly. In the end I paid half of what was advertised on the hotel's own website by booking through a third party. In any case, my stay was extremely pleasant. I would gladly return again.

I stayed here with my daughter, her husband & my granddaughter last summer. We absolutely loved this hotel.
Our rooms faced Rambla Calalunya with french balconies where we enjoyed viewing the activity of the active thoroughfare.
Our rooms were spacious with beautiful bathrooms. (May I suggest grab bars be installed in the showers.)
An international buffet was served downstairs along with a full menu, if requested.
The design of the building included a poo and lounging area on the first floor behind the immense beautiful lobby which welcomed us after a hot day of touring.
All of Barcelona's sites were within walking distance and the receptionists at the hotel couldn't have been more gracious and accommodating.
I highly recommend this hotel!

I stayed a week in this business type hotel. Location is very good, right at the Placa Catalunya where metro, bus and taxi is easily available. Hotel is 4 star and service was good throughout my stay.
I stayed in the 5th floor room #503. Double bed was comfortable and bathroom big with walk in shower. Smallish wardrobe, but just enough for one person. Shower buttons were bit tight to operate, need some fixing. Room was facing street and window had not the best insulation so some noise was heard in the room. Choose another room if you are light sleeper.
Breakfast was good, buffet style and menu to order hot courses like omelettes and such. I recommend this hotel for business trips.

One of the best places i have stayed in a long time. From booking to check out staff were amazing. Nothing was too much. Great welcome with Cava or water. Very covid safe. You right in the middle of the centre so great walking distance and a good choice of food and drink places. Breakfast was a good choice with cooked options aswel. We had a hot tub room and the bed was so comfortable, room cleaned regularly and although its overlooked we used it on a cold dark night and water was boiling hot. Paloma in the bar is an asset to the hotels she was really attentive and helpful. She recommended local food places which really elevated our experience as we went to non tourist places which is always really nice Reception allowed us late check out as room was available with option of paying for extra hours they also stored our luggage after so we could explore before going to the airport. I hope all H10 have this kind of service because i was top class.

lovely hotel in a cool part of town; great service, great rooms and really friendly and helpful staff. Through and through a great place to stay. When the weather is warmer the two pools and terraces would be such cool places to hang out and meet people. Can't wait to come back when the temperature's a few degrees hotter and the mood is complementary. We stayed as a family with two separate rooms, which was great. Staff were incredibly obliging and helpful.
Breakfast is top notch and the public areas are really cool with great design features everywhere. Rooms are well sound proofed and everything is what you'd expect from an international standard hotel in a city as cool as Barcelona :-) Perhaps the evening food offering could have been better but within two steps of the front door there are myriad tapas bars to choose from so that's not such an issue. Bar service and prices really good - bottle of really nice cava served with ice bucket etc was very reasonable. Wines all really good and at good prices.
We'll go back, for sure.

We stayed at H10 over the Black Friday weekend. The hotel had a fantastic location at Placa de Catalunya where you can find shops, restaurants and the metro all within walking distance. The express bus, Aerobus, from the airport also stops at Placa de Catalunya.
We got a room on the second floor facing the road. Although there were many celebrations along the main streets due to the Black Friday shopping/Christmas light up, the sound proofing from the windows was quite decent and our sleep were not really interrupted by the noise outside.
The "Double Room with Balcony" had a decent size and the bathroom had two sinks which was convenient when getting ready in the morning.
Staff were friendly and were always stationed near the entrance 24 hours.
There is a pool on the rooftop and the view from the rooftop was awesome.
Overall a very good stay here.
