We stayed at this boutique bed & breakfast for five nights. It is located in a terrific part of Barcelona, easy access to the metro, walking to good tapas bars and tourist attractions such as Casa Mila. Kiku & John are wonderful hosts, they are...More
We stayed for two nights and found this bed and breakfast extremely convenient as it is close to many desirable tourist attractions. Barcelona is a beautiful city and is best enjoyed by strolling around on foot. The Gothic quarter is about a 20 minute walk...More
Our 4th visit to this charming place, this time in Spring. We are impressed with all the renovations Jon & Kiku have done over the Winter…a bathroom addition, reconfiguring a few main floor rooms so most will have a private bath. But happy to report...More
The location was excellent, close to the park, the church, the hospital, the rambla. The 'Wooden Room', was VERY clean and spacious (no in-suite), with a private bath. Breakfast was a great chance to meet other travelers, as there are 7-8 rooms. We enjoyed talking...More
We stayed 3 nights. This place is perfect. Lovely people, spacious rooms and excellent breakfast. It's very clean and well run and a great place to stay being so well located. This place is a gem.

Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best
exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

We were there for 3 nights also. We bought the hop on and off bus for 2 days so you can see a lot and the third walked to places we hadn't been to yet. We walked for 6 hours one day and it was great cause there is so much to see. It would have done it again I would have taken the bus to the beach for the day. There is a part of the old town that has lots of little shops. ( more in the area of the Picasso museum).
But yes northern end and bring good walking shoes or sandals
