This hotel completely exceeded my expectations. First, it was reasonably priced for a very expensive city. Second, the location was fantastic. It's just a short walk from the blue A1 bus stop that comes/leaves directly from Terminal 1 at the Barcelona Airport, so getting to the hotel was super easy. It's right on the edge of the Old Town, and a couple of blocks from Ramblas...so much to see within a few blocks! Third, the staff were very kind, friendly, and helpful. Fourth, the breakfast was delicious, with tons of selection. Finally, the rooms were clean, elegant, and very comfortable. What a wonderful hotel! I had absolutely no complaints at all, and I will be sure to stay at this wonderful hotel the next time my travels take me to Barcelona.

We stayed at H10 Cubik for 4 nights on our holiday in Spain. I have only positive things to say about our experience. We booked directly via their website and signed up as H10 members for which we were given a 5% discount on the booking amount. Free breakfast was also part of the deal for booking on their website. On our arrival, Carla, at the front office was amazing. We reached the hotel at around 8.15am and she helped store our luggage so that we could start exploring the city until our room was ready. Carla also helped us another time when we were looking for a reservation to a certain restaurant. When that was not available, she looked up similar options and called them up to make a reservation on our behalf. The level of service was outstanding. Breakfast was great - huge selection of cheese and hams (and a whole lot more) and the option to order hot items as well. As we were checking out at 6am on our last day there, we were even given a packed breakfast for each of us which was very thoughtful. I would rate the security very highly too. One day we entered the room as cleaning was in progress and the staff cleaning the room very politely asked us to scan our key on the door to ensure that we were the rightful occupants of the room. The rooms were cleaned to perfection. Coffee (8 nespresso capsules each day) and tea were replenished each day. Because we had signed up as H10 members while making the reservation, we were also given a voucher which entitled us to 2 complimentary drinks at the rooftop bar. We were greeted very warmly by the staff there. As you can see, I really have no complaints about our stay at H10 Cubik. I would definitely stay here again if I were to visit Barcelona. A big thank you to Carla and to her colleagues at the front desk. In terms of location, we LOVED the place. We walked everywhere - to La Pedrera, Casa Batlo, Pulau Guell, Las Ramblas, the Gothic Quarter. It was indeed the perfect place to stay.

Visitor central in Barcelona is said to be the Plaza de Catalunya (at least on the map given out to tourists) and this hotel is a three to four minute walk from where the bus or train from the airport stops at the Plaza. It is also on the boundary of the old city and the new - well late 18th century new - so that you can easily explore both areas from the one location. The basic rooms are large, well-appointed and face onto three interior courtyards. I am guessing that the pricier ones face out, either onto the street or the back courtyard side of the building. Booking through the hotel website got us free breakfast, although I am not sure if that offer is always available, and not only was the breakfast buffet excellent but there was also the option to order hot meals from the kitchen. Service was excellent with refills of coffee and orange juice being offered almost before they were needed. Front desk and cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. You can get a very good view of the old city and harbour from the rooftop terrace adjacent to a bar and the plunge pool on the terrace would be a great spot to lounge in the hotter summer months. We found the soundproofing somewhat lacking but due to the layout on each floor there are not that many people to be bothering you anyway. Only other minor complaint was a pretty weak iron. We shall definitely stay here again if we return to Barcelona.

We recently stayed in this hotel for a week and are full praises for every aspect. The hotel room that we were In (junior suite) had excellent amenities. Since we were traveling with kids, anything additional that we needed was provided super promptly. The breakfast buffet that we had paid for in advance with the booking was great and very well worth the money. The hotel is located at a very convenient location, just a walk away from metro station, shopping, restaurants and some tourist attractions. The roof top bar is cozy place to spend the evening. The best part of the hotel is it’s staff. I can say that I have never experienced such a high level of hospitality (and I have travelled many countries and stayed in many of the big name hotels). A big thank you for Frank and Mauro who just have mastered customer service. Mauro went great lengths to make our kids birthday super special. The kids loved to see a surprise cake and balloons after a long day of sightseeing. Highest recommendations. This was our first stay at a H10 property and we are looking forward to staying with them every time possible going forward.

The location of the hotel is good and the roof terrace is nice although expensive, 8.50 euros for a non alcoholic mocktail and 3.50 euros for a small glass of Coca Cola. The main issues that I had were that I didn’t find the staff especially friendly, for example I arrived at the hotel at around 2:30 and I appreciate that check in isn’t supposed to be until 3 but it would have been nice for them to have tried to get my room ready for me after travelling all day. I had to leave my belongings and come back. Another thing was that nobody explained things in the room such as that you have to put a card into a slot to get any power so I spent ages trying to figure out why the lights weren’t coming on! My main issue was that I paid for a junior suite which is one of the more expensive rooms and I was majorly disappointed that it was on one of the first floors and looked straight out onto the busy road, apart from the view being bad the noise was terrible and I’m not a light sleeper at all. I might as well have just booked a standard room. A few things I noticed that were also a bit mean was that the shower gel in the bathroom was almost empty and you only get bath robes and slippers if you book the most expensive room, these are surely basic things for a hotel that brands itself as an upmarket four star hotel? It would have also been nice to have something like Netflix on the tv in the room. Apart from this the room was clean and serviceable and was a decent size, the bathroom was a good size and had good quality fixtures and fittings.

What can I say other than what a FANTASTIC HOTEL. We pulled up right outside and were immediately struck by how modern and smart the hotel looked. The photos online do not do it justice. When we got to reception we were greeted by the lovely team who couldn't have been nicer. We were offered a glass of bubbles whilst we completed check in and there were even sweeties to nibble on too. (There were non alcoholic drinks on offer too just as an FYI.) The communal areas of the hotel are well maintained and there are so many cute nooks to look around, filled with very fashionable furniture. In the small study room at the back of the ground floor you will find a coffee machine as well as a jar of cookies, water and orange juice to help yourself to free of charge. Not to mention the jars of sweets dotted around to make your stay that little bit sweeter. When we got to our room we found that it was exactly like the photos online. The room was clean, modern and a good size. The bathroom was to a high standard and was full of Ritual's products which were all full and smelt delicious! Our friends had opted for a superior room and it was also modern and clean and it had a more specious layout and a double bathroom. So the difference in cost is justified for sure. We all commented on how comfortable the beds were On returning to our room after our bus tour we found that the staff had left us a bottle of bubbles and 2 cakes as they found out we were there to celebrate our friends birthdays. Needless to say this was unexpected and we were blown away. The hotel has a shallow pool on the roof which serves as a fantastic sunbathing spot. The loungers are very comfy and towels were provided. The roof top also offered a bar/restaurant and the cocktails and tapas we ordered were delicious. The location of the hotel is also great as it was a short distance to walk to the beach, the main tourist streets and it is in the heart of the gothic district which is by far my favourite part of Barcelona. There were plenty of amazing bars and restaurants close by if you didn't want to catch a taxi. My personal recommendations would be: Dinner at Ziryab and Brunch at Caravelle. The hotel is a 30 minute taxi ride to the airport which cost approx 25EUR from and 40EUR back to if you use a local service instead of Uber. This was a fantastic hotel and I cannot recommend enough. The value for money was incredible. I cannot wait to check out some more H10 offerings next year.

We just had the most fantastic stay in this Hotel. One of the best parts about our stay were the lovely staff. They were honestly so friendly and helpful, always greeting us with big smiles and a friendly hello. When checking-in, we were absolutely delighted to be offered a glass of champagne each, such a lovely touch! The hotel is modern, clean and stylish and the rooftop bar area is just beautiful too. Our bedroom was so roomy, the bathroom was huge, with two sinks and a giant shower. The room had everything you could ever want, from bathrobes, slippers, an iron and even an umbrella. There was even a small bag of toiletries which included toothbrushes, toothpaste, and a small shaving cream and razor. The Hotel itself couldn’t be in a better location, it’s so centrally located but also quiet at nighttime. It’s around a 5minute walk to the main shopping street, and within easy walking distance of the main sightseeing landmarks. To give an example of just how fantastic the staff in the hotel are, we were waiting outside on our day of departure for a taxi we had booked ourselves to take us to the airport. We had been waiting for the taxi for a while, and in that time two different members of staff approached us and asked if we needed anything and also assured us they could arrange a taxi if ours fell through. Even after we had checked out the staff were still being helpful and attentive and we were honestly SO impressed. Thank you for a fantastic stay, if we are ever back in Barcelona I know exactly where we will be staying :)

We have just come back from a five night stay at the H10 Cubik celebrating our Silver Anniversary. It was booked through BA and we had a basic Barcelona Suite on a room only basis.
Check in was very straight forward and we were given the option to pay our City Tax then or on check out. We chose to pay then to get it over with. Staff on reception all spoke very good English and were very polite and helpful every time we went past.
The room, although marketed as their lowest grade room, was excellent. A huge and very comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom with a double sink and walk in shower with a monsoon head and a standard head. There was a large 4k TV on the wall (though only one English channel that we could find, BBC World News) A Nespresso coffee machine with 4 pods plus a kettle and teabags were provided along with a fridge/mini bar. We thought the mini bar was reasonably priced for the hotels location but were not tempted. We both slept pretty well and there was no noticeable traffic noise even though our room was facing the street and only on the second floor.
Breakfast was offered but at €23 per person we felt this was quite expensive so we ate at some of the cafes close to the Hotel. (There are quite a few within 5 minutes walk.) We did however try the food and drink from the Atik Bar on the roof. Again the prices were very competitive and comparable with restaurants in the area. Cocktails/Mocktails were in the €8-€10 region and beer was €5.50 a half litre (Or Pint for us Brits) The food menu up there was very good and we had no trouble finding things to try. We ate up there twice and had an excellent meal on both occasions What really made our day was a free bottle of Cava when the staff found out it was a special celebration for us. There are Tapas, light bites, sushi, and a good selection of mains on the menu. Recommended are the paella and also the ribs.
The Atik also had sun beds and a small plunge pool up there. The pool is knee deep for its entire length but makes for a refreshing dip to cool down as it is something of a sun trap.
The hotel is excellently located being on the edge of the Gothic Quarter. Catedral was literally a 10 minute walk away if that. The Marina 20 minutes, Sagrada Familia in the region of 30 minutes. Within 5 minutes is the Music Hall and Placa de Catalunya and the top of La Rambla. La Boqueria Market a few minutes from there as are Casa Battle and La Pedrera all of which are well worth a visit. For the further out attractions you have a Metro station literally at the top of the road. Recommend an 8 ride ticket for €10 as being the best value.
Overall we would rate this hotel very highly, great staff, super room - even if it was the so called basic one, and an excellent location. Well worth considering if you are coming to Barcelona.

Our room was very spacious to accommodate my granddaughter and I. Very tastefully decorated plus had bathrobes, slippers and all toiletries one would need. The breakfast started early in the morning until 11 AM to please every traveler and was of a large variety of delicious items. Although the road in front of the hotel was being reconstructed, the hotel made every accommodation so as not to make it a hassle or inconvenience for their guests. Very pleasant service at the front desk.

My husband and I went for a weekend i Barcelona where we stayed in Cubic hotel. We were not disappointed! We got a double room with a balcony located just below the roof terrace. This meant easy access to the pool and skybar/restaurant. I liked the hospitality and we agreed that the staff was really service minded. On second day the waiter in the bar already knew our names and our favorites cocktails 👌😄🍸the mojitos are SO good! The pool area is small so sometimes it was hard to get a sunbed but overall we felt it was okay since at several times during the day people left to go out and about in town. The location is very central but there was no traffic noise and it felt calm during our stay. The interior feels modern and we were impressed by the furniture and boutique hotel design style. Breakfast was served at tables and hot meals like omelette etc. prepared how you liked it. Furthermore there was fresh waffles and breakfast buffet. Really worth the money and it is not the last time to visit cubik!
