The customer service at reception was very good, they were extremely helpful. This hotel is located at the gateway to the old town next to a bridge. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. WiFi excellent. The place to stay in Girona.

Very central.... No other hotel appeared to be this close to centre. Reasonable price. Friendly staff. Clean. Modern. Air-con temperature seemed to be fixed centrally as would not cool enough. On the whole, good value for money.

Hotel Peninsular is in central Girona, just across the river from the old town, and therefore very conveniently placed. The location can be a little noisy on weekends, but sound insulation is effective if the room windows are kept closed. The staff were always pleasant and very helpful. The rooms were serviced effectively and were very clean. Unfortunately, the rooms...

A 10 night stay at the hotel. It is very comfortable, clean hotel, with a modern feel, located right next to the Pont de Pedra in the centre of town. Although it is a central location, the hotel is quiet. The bar/restaurant does very nice lunchtime food at a very reasonable price. They weren't overly impressed with the idea of...

Modern, comfortable and well placed. I managed to park very close by with 'blue badge' but parking might be a problem. Very well placed and easy walk to all shops and squares and places of interest. Hotel has excellent and very reasonably priced restaurant where breakfast is served plus lunch and dinner. Very good for the price and I recommend...

We stayed here 3 nights as we enjoyed Girona so much. The staff were excellent and accomodating and even helped us book train tickets. The wifi is very patchy but apart from that I would highly recommend them. Great location as well. Right across the bridge from the old town and also near the shopping areas. Loved it

Good rooms in the first floors, because are recently renovated. If you are in a working trip, you must get sure first of the Wifi signal. We were located in the 4th floor and there was no good signal there. We asked for a room change and they change us to a room in the first floor with better wifi....

Had a dreadful experience at Hotel Peninisular, room was nice until I went to bed at 10:15 as I was on a cycling holiday and had planned to do both a cycle route and a walking route the next day, there was a dreadful noise coming from the extractor fan ducting attached to the wall outside my room (408) I...

Fantastic value for money. We had a room for three persons and it was more than spacious and very modern. Hotel staff were great and very helpful. Girona was a bit quiet for us but the evenings were nice and a good selection of restaurants plus easy connection to barcelona. Highly recommend this hotel! We did not book with breakfast...
