You would think this hotel would be on point considering how much it charges for their services. When I first arrived a gentleman escorted me from the car to the elevator and to let me know what to expect from the spa. He was very pleasant, so I thought this was off to a great start. I get to the spa, there is no one at reception. There isn't a bell you can ring. I have never been to a spa (let alone a luxury spa) where I had to go look for the reception to sign myself in. I used the waters for a bit before my massage. My massage therapist was Liv, she was AMAZING!! I fell asleep so many different times and woke up making noises I have never heard myself making. It was one of the best massages I have ever had. I would give her 5+ stars for her services! The facilities itself, I would give it 3.5/5. I felt like for the amount you are paying, they shouldn't use disposable cups and should have snacks out for those who are getting treatments. I have never been into a salt room, is it supposed to smell like a dirty rag? I thought it was me at first, I couldn't relax in there. Spa service 0/5 - not only was there no one at reception when I got there; after my treatment and use of facilities, I went into the boutique. No one was in the boutique and I couldn't find a serum they had advertised all over the waiting area. When I got to reception, there was a lady in the office and another girl sitting there. When I asked for help the lady approached, I asked about the serum and she had no idea what I was talking about. She asked the girl and she had no idea what I was talking about. I told them it was a serum that was being advertised in the spa area. Shouldn't your workers know what products are being sold?

This hotel is amazing and the staff cannot do enough for you. We went as two adults and two children and I was so impressed with how the children are catered for without moving away from the importance of the adults here. It was a special occasion for us and the staff could not do enough to make it even more special. Rooms are beautiful and spotless, they even have robes for the children. The spa area has a really modern luxurious feel, with everything you need for a proper spa day. Food at both dinner and breakfast did not disappoint, with staff ensuring you have everything you need. Thank you Fairmont for making this such a memorable stay at a tough time for us- we will be back!

the food in the restaurant took over 2 hours to come, we were a group of 5 which I understand could take up to 45mins on a busy day like it was but 2 hours... Sorry Fairmont do better would not expect this in a 5* hotel and after previously had a great stay at Christmas was disappointing to not have the same experience again.

I completely agree with the last review Butlins or a Travelodge experience. We walked out and we will not be going back. Such a shame a fabulous grounds and fabulous building but unfortunately attracting Butlins clientele but charging Ritz prices. Screaming babies and toddlers in the dining room out of control so we moved to the bar which was full of drunken loud guests. We left and booked the Monkey Island Brasserie, Bray where we enjoyed a lovely quiet dinner amongst diners that knew how to behave with super staff and fabulous food

We are regular visitors here, but our stay this weekend is terrible and we will not return. staff at check in talking in the back how they want to quit while we are waiting in line with no one there. Our room was not ready even after 3pm and we found it still dirty when we got the key. We went to the bar and waited more than 1 hour for food which was just two main course and 2 sides. the waiter was very apologetic but this is unacceptable, we were then told one of the items we ordered wasn't available anymore as the kitchen didn't have the food to cook. I thought the waiter was joking. The next day we went to the moreish restaurant for breakfast and it was not the usual buffet. There was many items not there did you run out of food again? we tried to book lunch in moreish as we want to avoid the bar again after our spa treatment but they said lunch was closed. How can restaurant become closed and no one tells us in advance? I will never return here to this hotel you have lost loyal customer this Time.

We have been coming here as members for a year and although the place is beautiful. The service is awful. We have had to ask for our order numerous times and the food is cold We have to ask the staff for service multiple times. It’s deplorable the way members are treated Even though we have complained multiple times Nothing changes.

If you're looking for a 1* fine dining restaurant then the 1215 restaurant is the place. Food lacks flavour and some dishes are overly salted - not worth the money you would usually be happy to pay for a fine dining experience. Ambience is awful considering kids running around, we felt sorry for the staff here who tried to tell obnoxious parents to control their kids. Would not recommend. Fairmont - we expected better.

Outstanding in every way. From the moment we turned in along the drive to the time of our check out. It was 1st class The spa and gym were fantastic. The bedroom was great with all the amenities you’d expect at this level of hotel. The staff were warm, attentive and welcoming. The Head butler Vaib actually raised the bar and made us feel like Royalty. The other staff certainly followed his lead. Thanks Fairmont for a lovely 3 day break.

As a flagship Butlins the hotel excelled over the Bank Holiday, but it wasn’t a Butlins it was the new Fairmont Windsor and a five star establishment. It’s a beautiful hotel that hasn’t made up its mind if it’s a family fun hotel, conference centre, wedding venue or relaxing spa. Nothing wrong with being all four but it must be managed accordingly. It’s poor top board guidance that allows unruly children to run about the corridors screaming and shouting, using scooters indoors, when others want a relaxing weekend. If the Fairmont board want a Centre Park atmosphere at the hotel they must advertise accordingly so nobody is misled. Mixing all four possibilities with no top guidance to inexperienced managers doesn’t seem to work. This beautiful hotel and venue will succeed with clear top management guidance and a mission statement that can inspire staff.
