Excellent location and good price for Gibraltar. Close to the marina with lots of bars/restaurants. I am sure 5/5 will be given once the kitchen on the boat has been completed and the decor tidied up. Breakfast of a few cereals was also a little disappointing and could be improved.

Never having stayed anywhere like this before, we thought we'd give it a try for our two night stay and despite some refurbishment work going on, we could not have asked for a warmer welcome from Karen and her family. Would love to return one day!

So My mrs & I have just got home from spending a few days on this boat in Gibraltar. The boat has recently changed hands to a very nice couple called Karen & Darren. It is right in the heart of everything and has 2 casino's right next to it. They will be doing the cabins up in there winter...

The location of this boat is perfect, but it was so disappointing and could have been so much better. I really cannot understand the tripadvisor members who said the boat is clean. When we first arrived I thought it was a lot scruffier than I was expecting, but after settling in and having a shower in the decent shower block...

I only stayed for three nights which was just as well, the port room I stayed in was tiny and smelt of damp. Which I suppose to was I expected on a small boat, but in the discretion it did say a tv and dvd player were provided which turned out not to be in my room but the twin...

Karen and her family were brilliant hosts. I felt completely at home and nothing was too much trouble from the day I got there. I hadn't lived on a boat before but my room (starboard) was plenty big enough (I'm 6'2") and having a separate toilet and sink in the room was an added bonus. The breakfast is great, (toast,...

Compared to nearby Spain, Gibraltar seems to be a bit expensive for lodging. In looking for alternatives to hotel rooms I found the Con Dios. Karen was very helpful in making sure I found the place and getting me set up. I really appreciated the fact that she let me keep my bags on the boat even after I checked...

When on holiday we often have a walk around the local marina and look in enviously at people enjoying their days and evenings on a boat... So this year when we decided to go to Gibraltar we came across the Con Dios - perfect for us to live the dream for 8 nights! We spoke and emailed the owners directly...

There is very limited parking in Gibraltar. It is best to park in La Linea and walk across the border.
