To visit Gibraltar is a privilege.. And that too 2 days.... Awesome place again... Caleta hotel serves all your needs. Decent place to put up. Excellent view, great location and good food. WiFi doesn't work in all rooms but one has to come to the lobby for wifi. Overall good place.

My Gibraltar holiday company told us there was scaffolding on hotel but they didn't tell us they was going to be banging all day ! And won't give you any compensation or refund ( we did ask weeks before we went ) so don't book with them !!!! The hotel inside was lovely ! Friendly staff ! Fabulous food in...

Do not stay here, it is Impossible to imagine how this hotel has four stars and two AA rosettes. It is dilapidated and clearly hasn't had a substantial refurbished since the 1970s, however it is now shrouded in scaffolding with plans for massive extensions that will be ready in 2018, maybe. Our room, which was apparently the best, should have...

We like this place and the staff. Its on the quieter side of the rock but has great views and good facilities. We will stay there on any visit. The bar food is good and the main restaurant is excellent. Work is carried out to the facia at the moment so theres banging and chipping most of the day but...

Visited Gibraltar in early March to celebrate my birthday. Had stayed on The Rock before but not at the Caleta. The down side to this hotel is that it is not in the main centre of Gibraltar like the other 5 hotels - it's roughly a mile on the other side of The Rock. But for me, that is the...

People are very friendly, all speak English, there is a pedestrian area you might find interesting... There are no taxes, so you can buy perfums or cigarettes, but mind customs, when you come back to destination! If the weather is not good, you migh find yourself stuck on the peninsula, if you have to use an airplane as way of...

Stopped here for one night while in town on business. To be honest I was sold by the photo of the bay and the hotel so was quite looking forward to attempting to recreate it! Unfortunately the hotel is currently undergoing some renovation work so quite a lot of the outside is covered in scaffolding which rather spoils the shot....

We arrived on Wednesday late afternoon and were greeted by the sight of the hotel wrapped in scaffolding and netting as we came around the headland in our taxi from the airport. Not a good sight, and it only got worse as we entered the building and had to raise our voices above the noise of pneumatic drills and hammering...

It will be lovely when it is finished. Renovations to the front will take at least another month. The whole hotel is in need of a make over, the rear of the hotel is crumbling into the sea. See pictures attached to this review. There is a lot of work needed yet. Inside it is of a higher standard. The...

Hotel looked dated on the outside but was lovely, clean and modern on the inside. I had an ocean view which could not be beaten 10/10 for that. Reception staff seemed a bit busy at times and took a while to acknowledge i was stood there. Food was lovely and there are some lovely bars as short walk down on...
