It's close to the airport, has good parking and friendly, very helpful, efficient staff. However, it really is basic and the rooms are getting quite tatty. The whole place needs some TLC. It was, though, clean and I guess it does what it says on the tin - no more and no less, so I was happy with my stay but it's certainly not a hotel you would stay at unless easy access to the airport (or local conference facilities) was a requirement. One other thing to note is that the shuttle is not running (as of April 2022). This is stated on their website but not on some of the other booking sites. Whether they reinstate this remains to be seen. A taxi was easily obtained and it was 12 euros to the international terminal.
I just arrived home from a trip to Madrid. As my return flight was very early in the morning, I wanted to stay in a hotel close to the airport. I chose Tach because of the good reviews it has. I wasn't disappointed. The hotel is in walking distance to Barajas metro. The staff at reception were very helpful and friendly. I had a large room which was very clean and tidy. The hotel is very careful to be covid safe. My wife and I ate dinner in the hotel restaurant. The waiter was fantastic so friendly. I could tell he liked his job. The menu was great with lots to choose from, but we took the waiter's recommendation and it was delicious. In the morning we checked out and caught an Uber to the airport. Everything was so easy. I will be definitely using this hotel on my next trip to Madrid.…
I just booked a room for May (so I thought), and when it was all done I noticed the date was wrong. It is for tomorrow. "How did I miss that," I wondered. After investigating, I realized that I had started the booking on the Spanish-language page and switched to English partway through. When the site refreshed, the date reverted back to the soonest possible date. I've contacted the hotel and hope it will let me change the date.
The hotel is clean and the rooms are cozy enough! It's okay for it's intended purpose. The breakfast was really disappointing with really very little options. All about bready food and no fresh options or quality ones. Didn't even had mixed eggs which is a basic item for any hotel.
Decent hotel, conveniently located next to the airport but: - no soap nor shampoo in the shower (both dispensers were empty) - room equipment is minimalist (it is not a compliment) - we expressly requested 1 large bed and ended up with 2 uncomfortable twin beds Will not return as there are other options nearby
About 5-10 min to Barajas airport. Service is good. The room and the bathroom is were clean. Room was standard size for this type of hotel. Shower was larger than usual. The bed was somewhat narrow, hence, it was not the most comfy sleep I had.
The hotel overall has potential. But the pillows were really really strange, slept so bad because of the low hard pillows like bricks. Then the breakfast was unfortunately a very sad experience. Rock hard toast, no butter was given, not one single vegetable avaiable, tea was cold, the egg was boiled and peeled about a week ago so had to change it. Even started to smell... And the guy at breakfast looked and acted like he gave up life about 10 years ago. Won’t come back.
Uninspiring property with dark and dismal rooms. Good location from the airport so only good for a flight stopover, not a vacation. Staff were relatively friendly and bar and coffee shop was pretty good with a limited dinner menu. I'm sure there are better decorated hotels nearby but the online rate offer was enticing. The surrounding area has schools and apartments.
Very ideal for stop over Room is with wooden floor and big Same as for the toilet You can also rent it for hours (pre COVID) There is an excellent patio with sport activity center Food delicious Definitely a good idea to rest for a while
Won't be coming here again, booked a room in clement barajas (great hotel) last minute as I had an early flight, and was redirected here as Clement is still closed. Check in was great, receptionist lovely. However I arrived at 2230, the restaurant waitress explained its room service, prefect I thought! Ordered my food, and had a shower.. for the waitress to call me 10 minutes later and say it needed to be collected from the restaurant. Not possible I explained (I was wearing a towel) it's room service, please bring to my room with a card machine. She said its not possible, in a very very rude manner too, so I told her to cancel it then. I'd rather be hungry than succumb to a rude liar. The receptionist then called my room and brought it up.. with a card machine. Terrible service from restaurant, thank the lord for a polite receptionist, she saved me from insanity! This would he a 1 star review if it wasn't for her being so nice. She deserves 5* for herself…
