The room is clean and tidy, I had a twin room. In the bathroom various courtesy products, comb, razor blade, sponge and shower shampoo. However, a kettle in the room would have been useful, now all hotels have one. Personally I drink warm water morning and evening.
Breakfast not included, Wi-Fi does not work weak points. Friendly staff

A room was booked through a booking platform at a defined price.
During arrival I was asked to update my credit card as allegedly invalid, otherwise the room would be cancelled. Update is done, never receive a cancellation.
A higher room rate was called on departure than on the Reservation indicating that there had been a cancellation and afterwards a better room on Booking Referral. However, we were not informed of this before arrival or on arrival.
We were there as a group with several individual bookings - and we all had the same experience - tw with cancellation info and various phone calls with hotel and booking platform before arrival.
Rooms were ok.
The hotel also has a small bar/cafe attached to the hotel which was also good.
2. SERVICE: The service was simply magnificent and the star took care of each and every need. They even helped us book a last minute ticket to Barcelona on the Ave hi-speed train and took out print outs for us at 1AM in the night. I have to particularly point out to one of the front desk staff. Mr. Paulo, who is arguably the friendliest person I have seen in all of Spain! If the owners of this hotel are reading this, please give him a raise! He is an incredible asset to your place.
3. PRICE: At a time when nearly all the other hotels near the IFEMA venue were sold out, this was the only reasonably priced hotel near central Madrid, walking distance from the Prado museum with the 6 nights stay for two people costing me around 800 euro. Some of the other similar places were going for 1000-1500 euro for the same duration of time.
4. FOOD: We only took the morning breakfast. We thought it was a bit overpriced for the spread made available, but we were very happy with the quality of the food. Also, after a few days drinking crappy coffee in London, the fantastic coffee on offer here was a god-send.
Be careful
