Top location, great service @ reception (check-in and out, breakfast), great breakfast. Facilities though were not as expected for a 4star. I stayed in room 325, knowing it was small (that was not the issue). Some corners/ doors were totally worn out, and the bathroom not well maintained despite being relatively new.

I love this hotel. Its right in the center of the city so its well located for going shopping or walking around and not getting lost. The room was really nice, we had a big terrace and the view was cool. The bar is cozy. Service do their best. Im generally very pleased with this place, they care about detail....

Location is the biggest asset of this hotel. At the heart of Barrio de Salamanca you will be next and at a walking distance of the best shopping spots in Madrid. It is only a 5 min walk to Serrano (Madrid's golden mile), 15/20 to Puerta de Alcalá, Parque del Retiro, El Prado Museum and Cibeles. If you are, like...

Changed hotels after one night as the hotel does not offer air conditioning. Staff was very nice, but advice to open window to a noisy city below was not very helpful. The explanation was that the A/C for the building had not yet been activated.

The staff is very friendly and the rooms are cosy. I asked for a quiet room and the nice lady at the reception gave me room 808. I'm totally happy with that room. Breakfast was very nice. Most probably gonna try the restaurant tonight. I definitely can recommend Vincci Soma!

The best thing about the hotel, isn't the hotel at all..its the fact that you are slap bang in the middle of the bustling Goya district..whether its small independent bars, tapas joints or the larger shopping areas - Hotel Vincci Soma is literally "5 minutes from everywhere" Having stayed there twice, the rooms are well kept and clean, the showers...

I have stayed three nights in this well located hotel, in the Salamanca quarter. It is a very vibe area with all the amenities you might need only a stone away from the hotel. The room was well equipped, neither too big nor too small. It was very quite and clean. Comfy bed, huge shower. I highly recommend this hotel.

Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighbourhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
