Here for business meeting. Standard room was spacious enough, clean and neat. My one issue was that my room was on the second floor overlooking the McDonald's KFC Road and this was very noisy 24/7. Recommendation is to go for a higher floor if possible. Passageways are noisy all the time because of the marble tiles. Breakfast was great!Conveniently located...

We liked everything in this hotel - room, service, location, cleaning. The recepcion service was very nice. The hotel has a very good location close to the museum of Prado. The hotel lookes like new, with modern interface. We had a room with a beautiful view to the park. We would recomend this hotel.

Great hotel! The room I had is quite small, but it's fresh, clean and nice. The breakfast is lovely, with a huge variety of food. Fresh fruit, sereals, bread, fresh juices and sweets. Some noice from the elevator from my room. Closely located to a variety of tourist attractions.

We stayed here for 3 nights including King's Eve. An easy walk to the park, the museums and to see the lights. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and there is a nice kind of bistro bar on the ground floor with very reasonable prices.

This is a goos place for staying in Madrid. I have been before because of business trips, but this time we could come as a happy-holiday.couple, and we have also enjoyed it. Maybe a little expensive, but it's worth it

If available I would have rated this hotel as "Good". We stayed here for a 5 day break. Excellent location as near the main train station, Metro and the main sights are within walking distance (opposite the park / Botanical gardens). We were room only and took advantage of the many Café and Restaurants nearby to eat. There is a...

Only stayed for the night as we were in transit to Dubai. The hotel is very well located and situated inside a older building but very modern. Staff are intelligent and speak Spanish and English fluently. Walk outside and the beating heart of Madrid is on your doorstep.

The location of hotel is very convenient for both the Museo Nacional del Prado and Estación Atocha. The hotel room is in white tone, very clean and tidy. Overall, I feel very comfortable even staying there alone! I especially like the window where you could view El Paseo de Prado!

Staying in Paseo del Prado

Neighbourhood Profile
Paseo del Prado
The area around the elegant Paseo del Prado boulevard is much-visited by both locals and tourists. The world-famous Prado, the Reina Sofia, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza museums form a triangle of art and culture that spans this grand and beautiful avenue. On weekdays, the Prado Museum opens its doors for free after-work hours, drawing a diverse and excited queue of art lovers that wraps around the block. Palacio de Cibeles and Círculo de Bellas Artes cultural centers are other artsy hangouts to check out, with rooftop bars that provide impressive views of the city. While the Paseo del Prado and its roundabouts form a busy throughway in Madrid, a broad green pedestrian park in the middle is a calm and gorgeous place for a relaxing stroll. Just east of the museums, the Retiro Park is always a confluence of activity as families and friends of all ages take to the pretty paths and lawns to stretch their legs or to have a picnic.
