The hotel is quite and nice away from old town where most tourist spots are. To get to Puerta del sol, it's around 20 Euro each ride. We were told no AC in the room and the air feels stuffy. We had to open the windows and feel the fresh air. I am not sure if there is AC available...

Dear Staci, First of all thank you for your comments about our buffet breakfast which have to be a must for every guest that visit us. Our hotel is located in the North of Madrid close to Real Madrid Stadium and nearby a nice area plenty of famous restaurants, including our L´Albufera Restaurant, specialized in Paellas, but it is very well...

Since our last visit the Melia Castilla has gone through some major renovations, the entrance way, lobby, bar, restaraunts and rooms have all been updated. We were really impressed, we booked a premier room which was very nicely updated, our favorite part was the twin showers! Still our favorite hotel in Madrid.

Nice quiet hotel, good food and good bar. Stayed for 3 days and central to some shops and short journey to Madrid. Was on 12th floor but easy lift access. Has outdoor pool but wasn't hot enough for a dip

A four star hote, but small things dropped my feedback. I booked a non smoking room, but the was strong hint of tobacco in the room. Wall to wall carpet was also old fashioned. Breakfasts and lunches were good. Lots os sorts to select.

My husband, Gregory Rickenbach and I have been to Madrid at least 25 times, and we always stay in the wonderful and modern Meliá Castilla. The hotel, ideally located in the Castellana area has free wifi, the breakfast is out of this world, the restaurants are superb, the rooms are very big and well appointed, but what makes them extra...

Great Hotel and location. Service excellent, beds need to be renewed and the Hotel furniture, painting and floor are from the 80´s. We had 2 rooms that communicate, excellent for a family of 4. It was like a 2bed and 2 bath apartment. Service and staff very friendly.

Attended a conference at this hotel for a few days. Comfortable beds, pillows and room. Clean hotel. Loved the decor. My room was to the side of the hotel so was very quiet even during early busy mornings. The breakfast is quite nice with large variety of dishes. Staff try to speak english to help with anything. Overall great stay!

Very well located hotel and very friendly staff. Breakfast hall is very spacious with plenty of room and tables and the food selection was great. Hotel includes two restaurants which are very reasonably priced. Room was spotless and extremely comfortable. Plenty of amenities and comfortable bed.
