Clean and very comfortable aparthotel in Central Madrid. Excellent facilities, helpful and friendly staff. The location between Puerta de Alcalá and Cibeles is superb - within walking distance of most of the sights and attractions. Very good value for money, highly recommended.

We stayed here three nights. It is in a great, central location just blocks from the Prado & Thyssen museums. It is a short 5 euro ride to Atocha train station. The suites are exactly as pictured on the Internet, hardwood floors, nicely decorated, functional kitchen. We were upgraded from a junior to a senior site at no charge. The...

The night manager insists the rate for this hotel will stay under $200 a night, because they'd rather continue to have near-100% occupancy than make more money per room, but I have a hard time imagining this bargain still available next time I return. I don't think there could be a better location in the world, never mind in Madrid:...

Superb location in middle of town. Extra large rooms and living space ideal for families with 2+ kids. Staff were exceptionally friendly and made us feel at home, with local restaurant tips and directions. All up, a great small hotel experience!

We paid Euro150 a night for a 3 night stay. Family of 4. The apartment we had was absolutely massive! Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighbourhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
