It's a great location for business and easy access to the city main landmarks . What is missing is the fun element which is necessary after a stressful day . ( the SPA ) is missing and I would highly adding such amity + relocating the fitness to a better location within the hotel without the diesel smell + update...

I have stayed here before several years ago and also stayed at the Melia Reina Victoria, I made the mistake of booking the Princesa instead of the Victoria with a no refund price. I did not know that the hotels operate independently and they would not let me transfer. So I upgraded and it was fine, except I would not...

We stayed at this hotel for couple of days. The service was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The key appealing factor of the hotel is its location. As I tourist, I was able to walk to many of the city's attractions by walk. Perfect place for tourists to stay.

Stayed here the last 3 days on a city break. The staff were very helpful, the room was lovely (and very clean) with a particularly nice bathroom arrangement. Great location, with lots of bars ands restaurants nearby. A short walk (5 or 10 minutes depending on fitness) to the centre of town. Would definitively recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is good -- right next to a metro stop just a little north of the Grand Via. The room was very nice -- spacious by European standards. The buffet breakfast was amazing. Cooked to order eggs, bacon, all kinds of cold cuts, smoked salmon, breads, baked goods, fresh fruit, fresh...

We spent 3 nights here prior to commencing a trip of southern Spain. The room was excellent, the bed was great and the hotel staff both friendly and helpful. Sure took the strain off after a long flight. The hotel is well located for walking to a variety of types of shopping as well as getting to the central core...

Staying in Arguelles

Neighbourhood Profile
Just south of the sprawling campus of the Complutense University of Madrid, Arguelles exudes a fast-paced, collegiate vibe. The main street, Calle Princesa, is filled with twenty-somethings rushing between classes and errands, meeting up with classmates, and grabbing cheap beers and cheap eats. This is a prime shopping spot where the major Spanish clothing and department store chains are less busy than their downtown counterparts, and there is an array of casual dining options to choose from. Check out nearby outdoor spaces such as the lushly planted Plaza de España to the south, which is often filled with craft stalls. To the west of Arguelles is the giant Parque Oueste, a calm and picturesque park with its own Egyptian temple.
