I have been returning to Muralto for many years, wonderful staff, very good breakfast buffet, large apartments, excellent location, highly recommended. Overall, an excellent stay. The (large) closet inside the bathroom is a bit strange, in terms of the design.
Very pleased with my accommodation, the apartment was very nice, clean and well-appointed, the bed was really comfortable and the staff is very professional and friendly, they made me feel at home. The breakfast was really nice and well-assorted
One of the most pleasant stays at a hotel that we had experienced. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was large, included all of the extras we required, full of light and extremely clean.
I went to Madrid with a daughter and grand children. We had 2 rooms. I chose this property because of the proximity to the University that another granddaughter was attending. I am so happy that we chose Muralto. The rooms are big and clean. The kitchen had the basics, refrig, microwave, 2 burner stove, sink and dishes and utensils. I wouldn't try to cook a big meal, but great for storing food and warming up leftovers. The kitchen was big enough. The dining table had 4 chairs and a hanging light over it that gave lots of light. The breakfast room was spacious with a good variety of food. Lots of pastry, cheese, cold sliced meats, fruits and vegetables. Hot eggs and potatoes and meat. Coffee was great. I could sit there for an hour and wait for the rest of the family to join me and there was plenty of room. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. The bathroom had a tub and shower, 2 sinks and clothes closet in the bathroom. It is one block from the large department store and the subway entrance. Also there are lots of restaurants and stores all around. It is a quiet street. All the traffic is a block away. This hotel is very polite and attentive to details. We needed a taxi to the airport at 3 AM and they arranged it. Check out was quick and efficient. They helped us find a place for the covid test the day prior.…
Normally I do nor comment my experiences except if they are too bad or very good : this was the case. Since the very beginning of the booking, although not made directly with the hotel, received promptly all information I've requested and at arrival all assistance needed. Thanks vm Mr Eduardo. The rooms were very good and clean, good breakfast and a perfect location. Expect to be back to Madrid soon and definitely this will be my Hotel
I am a frequent visiter to Madrid and can say this is one of the best hotels I have stopped in for the price. Location is great, only 40 minutes from airport by metro and argüelles metro station is a 3 minute walk away from hotel. A 15 minute walk along Calle de la princesa will take you onto Gran Vía, the main shopping area. Hotel is excellent, polite and friendly staff. Rooms exceptionally clean and spacious and includes a small kitchenette. Breakfast is included if you book direct through the hotel and there is plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend and will be returning later in the year.
I love to stay there even if I go because of Seminars, I will go again in January. The room are big, some of them with a living room, beautiful, wifi worked perfect. All very good cleaned, staff very nice, all perfect.
We arrived Sept 8th and staying till Sept 16th, 2019. Check-in was smoothly and staff members all friendly and helpful in giving directions or anything else you might need. Everything about the room on the positive side. The room was very large and very comfortable. The safety deposit box is free. An iron in the the closet. Our room had two sinks in the bathroom. We had a kitchen room...very clean as the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was included in our package and was good. Close to shopping at Corte Ingles and Zara. Close to the metro station. About half hour walking to the centre city. Would certainly recommend this hotel.
I wish I could have rated this hotel higher because I liked how large the apartment was, the convenience of staying at a hotel that was 5 minutes walk from the Metro, and the shops nearby, but I did not sleep well at all. Getting a good night's sleep is the most important thing I look for in a hotel. It should have been almost impossible not to get a good night's sleep since I had been awake for 38 hours after a flight from Canada. We were able to store our luggage, but could not check in early because we arrived around 9:00 a.m. I didn't expect the hotel to check us in at that time and I was just glad we could store our luggage so we could sightsee during the day. Unfortunately, even though the rooms are advertised as being soundproofed, that is only true for outside noise, not the inside. Someone in an apartment above us decided to blast their TV at 4:15 a.m. At first I thought it was our alarm, until I realized the noise wasn't coming from anywhere in our room. They didn't shut their TV off until a half hour later. By that time I was wide awake from listening to their noise. Also, the room was advertised on Tripadvisor and on Hotels.com as having in-room climate control with air conditioning. We were there in the middle of May and it was hot in the room. The air conditioner only blew warm air, so we had to turn it off, open the windows until we went to bed, and then close the windows because the noise from outside would have kept us awake. The heat in the room due to the air conditioner not functioning as advertised contributed to my difficulty sleeping. Despite the positives of the size of the room and the proximity to the Metro, I would not have booked the room if I would have known that the room didn't really have climate control and wasn't soundproofed as advertised.…
I decided to choose a centrally located hotel/appartment for a short weekend trip to Spain's capital Madrid. The Muralto Suites Apartment was my choice due to a lot of positive ratings. Unfortunately, as a single 117,-€ per night is pricy, (by far) more than a daily salary. I suppose for 2 persons it would be the same price actually as it is an appartment including a kitchen corner. Positive: + location close to the centre + friendly staff + cleanliness Negative: - high price - breakfast premises (at 07.00 more persons than places available, crowdy) - breakfast offer/choice (gluten free bread standard but overall basic)
