But you can take the 21 bus to Venta. Then switch to metro line #2 (red) that will take you to the downtown attractions. I like the minimalist, clutter-free style that gives you relaxing feeling. Hotel staff speak English well
Artiem in Madrid is a unique hotel with spacious rooms, lavish breakfast and a free snack and drink bar open 24 hours a day. We stayed for 2 nights as a family in the top floor room with balcony and it was an amazing experience. From the moment you step in, the reception was warm and welcoming. Our room was huge and the beds were very comfortable. The whole property is spotlessly clean. There was a gym as well. The breakfast in morning was sumptuous to say the least and of high quality. The highlight was definitely the snack and drink counter. I have never come across such a concept in any hotel stayed before. Kudos to the management. Would definitely stay again and highly recommended
Great service, Great Expérience. I love this hotel!! When I come to Madrid, I always come here. Close to the airport, easy to go to downtown. Room is clean, modern and comfy. Breakfast is complete. And attendants are ver nice!!
Wonderful staff. Extremely clean. Room was good with lovely bed and bathroom. Great breakfast. A 1km walk to metro for line 7 and then 15/20 mins into centre. Would definitely return. Only negative....the parking is just a joke if you drive any car bigger than a Mini.
We really enjoyed our stay in Artiem Madrid. All the staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. Ana from reception maked our check in , and she maked us feel very good welcome. The breakfast was amazing and the snack bar very good and tasty. Thanks you so much to all the staff of Artiem Madrid !!
Nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood, 10 minutes by cab (about 20 €) from the airport and less then 30 minutes to the city center (metro or bus). Large and very clean rooms with super convenient large bed, friendly and helpful staff and a delicious breakfast buffet. 24 hours snack corner with free-of charge drinks and snacks. Also liked their overall concept to act environment friendly.
Our visit to hotel was very enjoyable. The check in was fast, easy and the staff was really nice. The hotel is modern and provides everything you need e.g. free drinks throughout the day or snacks in the afternoon. Even tough the hotel is not located in the centre of the city, you can get around pretty easy with public transport as a bus station is directly in front of the hotel.
We really enjoyed one night at ARTIEM Madrid! The staff in the reception was very pleasant as well as they offered a free taxi to the centre. The room was very spacious and everything and I got touched with the hand writing letter for me!! They also offered the free soft drinks in the lobby. 100% recommend !!
Excellent hotel! The best we've had! Especially the Green and grab. and the breakfast, but also the beds and bathroom. The only negative things were: far from the centre and the loud music during the breakfast.
I kept looking at my options for an airport area hotel (near MAD) and I just knew staying at one would end up being trapped in one of those old, worn out hotels that gave me the creeps. Also, not a 'creepy airport hotel' but I did stay at the Novotel (on O'Donnell) earlier this year and it was no bueno (especially for their prices!). Having just come back from a less than ideal stay in Rome, I wanted to spend a couple of days just chillin' as my 3 week vaca was wrapping up and in preparation for a long journey home to the US. Came across this one online and I'm so glad I did. Knowing I didn't especially want to go into the historical center, I was fine with staying kind of midway between the airport and the tourists areas. The taxi from MAD wasn't too bad ($20-$25E) and if you book on the Artiem website directly you can get a buffet breakfast included + an option to have them drop you off in the historical center of Madrid (on Sat & Sun mornings only). I overslept and missed breakfast but fortunately the property offers yummy snacks all day + unlimited drinks included (what?!?). Additionally, the property is spotlessly clean and the front desk staff is very nice & helpful. I got an Urban Big room which was very spacious. For me the pillows were not comfortable at all but all else about the stay was exceptional. Love the social mission / charitable / environmentally friendly aspects of their business, plus the unique concept, in general. I even bought one of the cool hemp market bags they sell ($95E). If you request the Carnitas room, 100% of the money is donated by the hotel (part of their mission-driven business model). I definitely will stay here again when going to (or through) Madrid and check out their other properties also. …
