Amazing hotel in a great location! Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 5 nights at the beginning of October and absolutely loved our stay. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming. Location: is superb, the hotel is in walking distance to most of Madrid’s top sights (Retiro Park, Gran Via, Palace). There are lots of bars a restaurants around too so no need to venture far for these. The room was lovely, it was clean and modern. Slightly small however this wasn’t an issue for us as we spent most of our time out exploring. Lovely little added extra the room included a bottle of water and there were beers/juice in the fridge in the common area for guests. 10/10 would recommend staying here, and will be back if we return to Madrid. Thank you very much, we loved our stay!
I really enjoyed my stay. Apartments with modern ambience & positive spirit - high quality service indeed. I especially liked kitchedn area and details. I spent lovely time in Madrid and enjoyed beautiful view of the streets of the Madrid. I'd like to add that apartments have great location. Furthermore, the stuff we met was kind, super nice and helpful. I also stayed at Numa apartments in Barcelona and it was an amazing stay. High recomndation for NUMA Stays apartments all around the Europe.
Great location, fair price. The breakfast was an awesome surprise. The only disappointment the room service: there isn’t one. During a whole week my room was cleaned only once. They actually say that it’s their policy, but there was no mention anywhere before booking.
First of all, I have no idea who ‘the hosts’ are of which some reviewers here on TA write. I stayed three nights at Numa, and I have (literally) not seen a single soul. This is a 100% digital hotel. It is actually some 10 rooms or so on the 7th floor of a huge building. Location is superb, but there are many hotels here so not unique in any way. As you can read in the reviews here, rooms vary in size. This is a bad thing, since you have no way of knowing what you are actually paying for. My room (7) was so tiny I had to go with my back to the wall and between the bed to reach the bathroom. Not kidding! No room either for even a single chair, so you have to sit on the bed at all times. I would say that is tiny, by any standard. On the plus side, beds are really comfy and fresh, and showerstuff really nice. Room walls are thin, you can hear de tv or conversations quite good. If you’re not an early riser, the rooms 1-5 are to be avoided, since they open directly onto the communal kitchen/breakfast room. So I heard tv’s and conversations, but never say anybody actually, that includes also not anybody to clean the room or make the bed, but maybe that is in the concept? For breakfast, I recommend the beautiful ‘Rollies’ just 100 meter down the street, with a huge collection of breakfast stuff.…
I booked the room with Booking.com. There is no reception in the hotel. Instead you get a pin code to access the building and the room. They have changed my booking without any notice and the information given to me. I figured out about this after struggling to access the room. Instead of my original booking they put me in the tiny room with window into the interior patio of the building which is barely fit two people. The glass door that separates the bed and shower makes it even worse. More over the room wasn't cleaned at all . We stayed for 3 nights. I had to ask cleaning lady to change towels. Overall it's overpriced. It doesn't worth what you get. I wouldn't recommend it. On the brighter side the location is very central with one step to Museo de Prado.
Very clean room with close proximity to the center of Madrid. The stuff was really friendly and willing to help.Quit and value for money. The breakfast was also sufficient but needs some improvement. We love Madrid and LaPepa chic!!We will visit again soon!!
We liked it from the minute we checked the pics on the website but the flamenco shoes sealed the deal! And that was just one of the many details that make this an excellent base to explore an amazing city. The location is great because you're very close to the city centre (walking distance to most sights) but in a nice and quiet area, where you can have a perfect night sleep. The staff was super nice and the place very clean, the rooms were a little small but very cute (the more spacious rooms with a view were sold out, but they're worth a little extra), the breakfast was really good (delicious bread!) and you enter (building, hostal, room) with codes, which is always better than keys. I would totally go back if I return to Madrid!
We stayed a week in Madrid and had a great stay. Not fancy, but perfect for us. We were within walking distance of every place we wanted to go - train station, museums, etc. I liked having breakfast in the morning and a cup of tea (anytime) right outside our door. It was exceptionally clean and the room good sized. Nice drawers and a little table and shelves - we could unpack instead of living out of our suitcases. Everyone was very friendly and helpful with lots of tips at check-in. All doors were on a key pad with codes so we didn’t need to worry about carrying keys. We had a front room by the entrance and the central breakfast area, so there was some noise of other guests coming and going. This did not bother us, but if you mind such things you could ask for a room down the hall. We had a lovely city view and enjoyed looking out the window at all the holiday lights and festivities. And be sure and watch for the dancing when the clock chimes on the hour! …
We stayed in a family room which was very friendly and the bathroom offered no privacy. Would not recommend for friends sharing. More like Airbnb or upmarket hostel. Located on the 7th floor of building and rooms off corridor and entrance which serves as reception and very small breakfast area. Breakfast was basically tea and toast, large group on 2nd morning took over the area which made it hard for us as a family trying to eat before a tour. Whilst quiet, you could hear other guests arrive and depart. Excellent information on what to see and do on arrival. Right next to parliament so always protests and police blockages it seems but felt very safe
My husband and I stayed at Lapepa Chic for just one night. I wish it had been longer. The location is excellent, near museums and other cultural attractions. The staff is friendly and helpful. They make their guests feel welcome. The breakfast is outstanding. There is a variety of foods and drinks, including fresh fruit. The B&B is exceedingly clean, the location convenient and safe. It is a great value. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends.
