Nice rooms, great location, very professional staff. Would highly recommend. This hotel is right in the center of town and conveniently located. Although the rooms aren't excessively large they are nice and clean, I would stay again.

Enjoyed our stay here in Madrid! Extremely central close to metros, cafés, shops and landmarks. Would stay here again. Quiet and comfortable with a modern feel and nice/helpful staff. We asked for a upper floor room to be away from evening street noise but I don't think it would have been a problem regardless of floor level. The hotel was...

Hotel great, location great. Don't believe the photos of those shown on their site. Breakfast great and should be selected as part of your booking. Paid for a premium room ended up on the first floor? Ok room 119, effective low noise.

The Preciados hotel in the heart of Madrid . Near to all of the important parts of the city and yet a quiet atmosphere. The rooms are a bit small but comfortable enough. The service is excellent and everyone is ready to help at all times of the day and night. The hotel has been recently renovated with a great...

I travel a lot for work as well as for pleasure and I am fortunate enough to stay in a lot of 3 and 4 star hotels globally. Hotel Preciados met and exceeded expectations. That's not to say they were perfect, but the hiccups weren't significant. Also, important to point out that we were in a junior suit for 4...

Nice hotel, small but clean, comfortable single room, nice bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. Location is perfect, very close to Gran Via, Calle Preciados, Puerta del Sol y Plaza Mayor. Restaurant Varela in the lobby of the hotel is very good.

We spent 4 nights at this hotel. Cristina at the front desk was wonderful. She deserves special mention as she was helpful and engaging. Generally Staff was pleasant and helpful. Rooms are neat and clean and bed is most comfortable. If I was to redo , bathroom is too large given the bedroom is small..(should have made bedroom larger) Location...

If you want a city hotel this is awesome. The location is perfect right in the middle of the city with everything no more than ten minutes away. The rooms are modern and super clean and beds are comfortable. The staff were helpful and the hotel restaurant serves a nice breakfast and offers a pretty decent lunch/evening menu. Enjoy.

Stayed only for one night on business. Hotel reception staff were excellent, very hepful in everything. Hotel accomodation was very good - modern room and large bathroom. Great location - within walking distance of good restaurants, classic buildings, palaces and shopping. Would like to come again for holiday!

Staying in Centro

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro
Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street performers, colorful lights, window shopping, restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a collection of plazas interconnected by a network of side streets. Some of these side streets are wide pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as desired. The iconic Puerta del Sol is the giant crossroads of the city and a must-see attraction at any time of the day. The nearby Plaza Mayor, completely enclosed by historic red buildings, is an ideal place to grab a bite to eat outside, amidst scores of tables and people out for a stroll. Plaza Isabel II (also known as “Opera”) is smaller and a good meeting spot, and the stately Plaza del Oriente is the front yard of the Royal Palace. Centro can be touristy (pickpockets are unfortuately not unheard-of here), crowded, and sometimes gimmicky, but it is also the place to experience classic Madrid.

“504 is a lovely room. There is noise from the bars and restaurants on road below if roof terrace doors open during the night but if closed the two double glazed doors block out all noise. The air-conditioning worked well so having the terrace doors closed during the night was fine.”
