The things that make this hotel a good option are location and price. It's located at 1 min to metro Tribunal, walk able distance to the Palace (20 min), 10-12 min walk to Gran Via.Low price compared to other accommodations in Madrid. That being said don't expect facilities or luxury, or even too much comfort, it's as basic as it can get; you get what you pay for. Staff was nice and helpful. We booked 2 rooms a matrimonial double (but got a triple with 3 single beds) and a single (but got a double). They don't have an online room assignment system, just the bookings written in a notebook and basically you get what's available, not necessarily what you book. Bathroom in triple room was great, big, clean and had bathtub. AC fast and efficient. Wifi worked great Triple room was comfortable and quiet, but single room was very noisy with no soundproof, could hear everything from other rooms, even phone ringing. And it had the most uncomfortable pillow ever and a bad chlorine smell. In both rooms could not keep blinds open because there were some classrooms very close and everything was visible. It can be a great option on a budget and for a short 1-2 night stay, but for 5 nights, it was too much for us, would have preferred more comfort.

Me and my friend recently visited this lovely hostal. It was very clean and tidy. We really couldn’t fault it. And it’s right in the centre of the city. The staff was very friendly and Fernando at the reception was very helpful and could speak English (which we found out was rare in the area e.g. grocery shops, Uber etc) the only thing we would point out is that the building that they promote as their hotel is not where they are located . It’s a very similar looking building at the other side of the road. It took us a little while to find it (however me and my friend have very bad sense of direction anyway ). We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for cheap and cheerful place to stay when visiting Madrid 👍🏻

The hotel is located in a walking distance to center in a very lively street with small shops and restaurants. There are also grocery shops in walking distance. You can find a street full of vintage shops nearby if interested. The feature I like about Madrid is that the shops of a certain topic are organised in one street so that you can browse all vintage shops at once not having to travel from one city part to another. The receptionists were very kind, spoke English. No breakfast included but a container with water and sweets is at the reception where you can purchase small snacks for change 24/ 7. The reception is open 24/7 and you can check out until 12 which leaves you the time to sleep on the last day of the visit. Very nice hotel, highly recommendable, the room was spacious in comparison to the other hostel we stayed in.

Great for people who need a clean place to sleep. Malasaña is a nice area, especially for those who like art and vintage shops. There are plenty of options to have a drink or a bite to eat. The hostel is close to Tribunal metro station, for easy connection to the airport (1 transfer) and e.g. the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, a must for football fans. Gran Villa / City centre is only a stroll away. (10-15 minutes). The WiFi internet connection is great and we could leave our luggage for free on the last day of stay.

Extremely clean and simple, good quality rooms in the hotel. The hotel looks like it has baths on the website (which I prefer to showers) but my bath had no plug. When I asked for one, I was told they have removed all plugs in the hotel bathrooms! No idea why but since baths are available it seems silly that you can’t enjoy one after a long day sightseeing. The night receptionist was very friendly and helpful, however the day receptionist could have been a little more helpful. For example, he said no when I asked him to call me a taxi and said I could easily hail one on the street. (Actually it took 10 minutes to see a free one.) I have never stayed in a hostel or hotel where they haven’t been happy to call me a cab. Positives - great location, excellent standard of cleaning, well kept rooms.

Very good location only feet from tube station. Quiet hotel in a busy street. Shops, museums and bars right on the doorstep. Very clean and nice looking. Don't know how they do it but every time our key was in their hand ready to hand over to us before we got to the reception .Very pleasant

This hostel in the very heart of Malasaña is just what it says, a clean place with good quality beds and to a large degree low level of noise at night. Reception is not very enthusiastic but overall it delivers a decent night sleep for a reasonable price (not cheap) closed to great entertainment so certainly not a bad place to lay down after all night party

Good hostel, good location, very close to the underground, places to eat and shops. Very basic, but also very clean, quiet and friendly. Out dated interior, but actually quiet cosy beds. Reception mostly helpful and friendly and most spoke English If this is a concern. I’ll defiantly stay here again, good value for money.

We stayed here for three nights in October. Excellent location.....minutes from the metro and shopping. Rooms were okay....basic but functional. Bathroom was a good size. Internet was great. Very small elevator and the hotel is on the 3rd(??) floor. Overall, we didn't have any issues with this hotel. It was fine and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
