Amazing place to stay, 3 mins from Calle Gran via and 7 from Plaza del Sol. Staff was friendly and effective. They have no kitchen but they have vending machines. Our room was perfect in terms of comfort, nice balcony, and air conditioning. Perfect.

I spent one night at the hostel. I have to say that I got small but clean room. For someone who needs just to oversleep I highly recommend! I really enjoyed the fact that the hostel is oocated in centre.

Comfortable, clean and very well located for the gay district and nightlife in Chueca. They dont even blink an eye if you come home trashed at 5am, BUT don't even think about having guests in your room. Reception is staffed by little old folk at all hours who keep a watchful eye on who's coming and going.

Good location in a busy street, close to Gran Via and two metro stations. The room was very small, old, and poorly organised: the air conditioning was beaming directly at my face in the bed. The bathroom is so small that you either dry yourself against the toilet after showering, or step outside (my choice). The lady attending reception was unhelpful, unpleasant, bordering on rude (and I speak Spanish, good luck if you don't – I witnessed two Chinese tourists asking for help who were rudely dismissed).

We booked another 5 days stay at this very convenient location. Owners were again very friendly although their English is limited. They allowed us to book in early as we had luggage we wanted to off-load. Rooms are basic Hostal type but are adequate for our needs.

In the center of town, no parking but good access by Metro and Taxi. A good price for what you get. Quiet rooms facing into a courtyard is imperative when staying over the weekend. No breakfast service, good eateries are close.

The room was tidy and well maintained. The beds were firm and the pillows were soft. However the wifi was very weak, sometimes I had to go into the hallway to pick it up. The owner didnt know much english and he wasn't very friendly. I liked the fact the room overlooked the busy street Calle de Fuencarral which allowed us to feel some of the street energy.

Located right in the tourist part of Madrid, we found it to be surprisingly quiet and comfortable with very friendly staff - so much so that we booked a further 6 nights when we return from a 10 day tour of Morocco.
