One of the best aspects of this hotel is that it provides an amazing location right on La Gran Via. It is a very nice looking hotel with a rooftop bar and good wifi. Out of the 3 hotels my boyfriend and I stayed at, this one had the most comfortable bed. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because the lobby is very hot. Other than that, I recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in Madrid.

This hotel's customer service is terrible. I understand that the hotel needs to have policies in place but sometimes things happen (out of control of one) with all this bureaucracy everywhere!! You should be able to help customers, not incur financial hardship. No one seems to want to help, I even asked my cousin to visit the hotel to try to speak with a manager and they were so rude even to her. Please DO NOT BOTHER booking here, THEY JUST WANT TO YOUR MONEY and don't care about people, another business thirsty for money but with no customer satisfaction whatsoever. I still need to cancel this reservation, I have been trying to cancel since December, we are March and no response from hotel. Diego Bello customer service rep, or the receptionist at the service desk was terrible.…

Macerana was an awesome experience to stay . It is in th hearth of Madrid and close to everywhere..Subway , shoping malls , retail centers and of course historical areas too .. If I visit Madrid definetely I will stay at there again .

The location was amazing, in the middle of Gran Vía, a short minute's walk to every sight, and close to the metro as well. The hotel is very modern. The room was very clean, with great amenities. The air-con in the room was in good function, which is very important on warm days in Spain. Breakfast was excellent. The staff was very friendly.

This was a superb base for our stay in Madrid, the rooms were clean and comfortable. It is in a great location for exploring and staff all friendly and welcoming. Breakfast buffet was good. The only downsides of the hotel was our room windows was very close to an office block so felt like the workers could see in and needed to keep the curtains shut, that with no bathroom door separating this from the room it felt like little room for privacy. The swimming pool isn’t really for swimming either it is more a water feature in the bar which is not accessible until late afternoon.

I Would like to thank Room mate Macarena for a fantastic weekend break everything was brilliant staff very friendly & polite & professional. Breakfast food & drinks very good. They were very respectful when I mentioned the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. They treated us so well & will never forget the hospitally shown to me & my friends. Stayed for 5 nights and had a lovely stay. Our room faced gran via but we had great soundproofing and the internal noise was low as well. Seemingly 20 mins walk to everywhere. The bathroom area is both small and some (me) would have liked a toilet door that actually shut for that little bit of privacy. Would happily stay again though

The staff was very accommodating and professional. They were always there to assist and we excited to do so. The breakfast was amazing. The views were amazing. The accommodations were amazing. We booked two separate rooms because we have teenagers and they made sure the rooms were close to one another. The location is central making it easier to travel everywhere. Highly recommend.

Big clean rooms with all the required necessities. Very friendly staff. Delicious buffet breakfast. Location is perfect, right smack on Gran Via. Carrefour opp. the hotel. Great location for all your shopping needs esp Primark. Very safe neighbourhood. There is 24hrs security at the entrance of the hotel. You need a keycard to proceed to rooms and front desk. This is the best place to be in Madrid.
