Hello, at first I was very happy to come to regina Madrid hotel date :3/7/2021.. Everything was fine and I advised everyone about the hotel as it gave me a comfortable impression of the city.. However, tonight 4/7/2021 at 12 am I was robbed outside the hotel, and I suffered various injuries, my shoes were lost and other things. I came to the hotel, the receptionist did yell at me about the reason for not wearing shoes, and the reason for the presence of blood in my body (in both languages) Spanish and English) as people in the hotel looked at me and think of me as homeless .. When I came to the hotel, I ask Help from him, if the receptionist is not the one who takes care of the guests, who will? And who will call the ambulance to help me? On the contrary, he refused to help, even though he was without work and without a client! He just stands and looks at me and doesn't want to hear! I was in a miserable condition and could not breathe and fainted and woke up on my own.. I needed help, but he didn't even offer me water or a tissue to wipe the blood off my body.. He was so rude and talking to me and waving his hand.. All I wanted was to help..help the guest and provide a hospitality !!!!!! It is very important than the shape or number of stars of the hotel! The same employee who did such a thing, how does he know anything about customer care? or service? It is an essential thing for every receptionist!! I waited 20 minutes in my place in the lobby and he did not move or come to ask about my needs.. I went to my room, got dressed and changed and went down to the reception to ask for help again and here he said to me: Don't blame me, I didn't rob you! The police and ambulance came AFTER ONE HOUR! What I want to deliver now.. in a strange country, the person carefully chooses a hotel that he considers as his home or as a place of rest, the employee had a very bad manners, was uncooperative, rude, rude and rude!!! Nothing can explain the rudeness of this employee.. There are other details that I reserve, but now I need to file an official complaint and punish this person, and for my words to reach the hotel manager (where he described the himself as the hotel manager and I know that he is not) .. i really had a bad experience. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear the latest developments.

How is this only a 3 star hotel, it definitely deserves more. Hotel is stylish and had a very high-end feel. Staff were helpful and looked smart in their uniform. Bedroom was spacious, clean and comfortable. Bathroom had an amazing shower in it, just what was needed after exploring Madrid in the heat. Bar area/restaurant again had a high-end feel about it. We had some afternoon nibbles as the evening meals did not start until around 8.30pm. It consisted of the most amazing melt in the mouth ibirico ham, other meats, cheese, olives and bread, this set us on our way for another explore around Madrid before returning for our evening meal. We spoke to who we assumed was the restaurant manager and both he and the staff were very helpful, we were served the most amazing steak which you could clearly see had been matured for far longer than we do in the UK, it was delicious. Breakfast was vast with options of a cooked breakfast, lots of pastries, various fruit options and cereal. Highly recommended this hotel, you'll be in for a real treat.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Regina. Perfect location. Very clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. We had a lovely room with a terrace and jacuzzi which was so nice to have outside space. This was on one of the upper floors which is much better as there was quite a lot of building work on the road below. Breakfast was in a nice bright room and again very friendly staff. Tip : I emailed the hotel prior to visit to reserve a breakfast time as I had read a previous review from someone that said all the good slots have gone by the time you get to the hotel. The hotel honoured our email request.

As almost every review here mentions, this snappy, modern hotel is blessed with a superb location on the Calle de Alcalá, just a brief walk from the Puerta del Sol. Service at the hotel was exceptional. The front desk staff is unfailingly polite and helpful, going above and beyond to assist one in arranging almost anything, from coronavirus tests for one's return to airline problems. Housekeeping is equally exceptional. Rooms are thoroughly cleaned and vacuumed, and I have never slept in a more tightly made bed in my life. The rooms all have modern appointments. The rain shower shower head built into the ceiling of each shower is a special delight. The king-size beds, however, are actually two twin beds made up separately and pushed together. Also, the bar refrigerators in each room are impossible to get really cold—they only get cool. Breakfast provides a bounty of options, with traditional Spanish fare like jamón ibérico, potato and egg tortillas, and churros, as well as bacon and scrambled eggs, fruit, yogurt, espresso, etc. The only downside is that you have to reserve a breakfast hour the night before. It's also worth noting the value of this hotel—we travel fairly frequently as a family of four, and this is the first time our children (two teens) had their own room. i can't imagine anyone being disappointed with a stay at this hotel.
