When I called to cancel and get my money back, they told me that it was impossible because it was Booking's responsibility, but Booking told me that it was the hotel's responsibility. The problem is that I did not complete and confirm the reservation, so they used my credit card information in an abusive way.
Pleasant hotel situated at the bottom of a hill but close enough to the metro. Very good menu del dia for lunch at El Placer del Bierzo which is just across the road going up the hill on right hand side of road. Burger King at the top of the hill. Do not book with Booking.com as you will not get the usual free wifi in your room, you will have to pay for it. Book direct with Travelodge.
Staff was mean rude but the hotel over all was really good and clean and nice and there was no noise no hassle just the staff was mean over all I rate 7 out if 10 thanks I just didn't like the staff thanks
We chose this hotel because of the price for the New Year’s Eve. However it s far from the centre and it doesn’t have free Wi-Fi even thought they say it is free on website. Caution needed to have a hairdryer… some noise during the night. It was however clean and the staff is nice. But too expensive for the services available. Not to repeat.
Good value hotel, rooms comfortable, clean and in good condition. Friendly, English speaking reception staff. Strange quirk is that despite literature there is no kettle, cups, coffee in the room. It's a 10 Euro deposit with reception, with fresh milk only being available in reception
No wifi, ( need to pay) , no hair dryer. If you have a car, that will be good. Otherwise you need to walk 20 mins to reach Metro station. The weight machine for weigh the luggage , you need to pay. Consider it is a budget hotel with 70€ per night
Worst experience ever. I dont recomend this hotel for non-european people. At reception they will treat you bad. At the room, they wont resuppy toilet paper nor soup. And additionally, you have tu pay extra for a poor wifi service.
The hotel itself is pretty clean, however the rooms themselves don't even have a wardrobe or free WiFi in the room. The noise from other rooms is impactful, and you have to pay a deposit for the cheapest hair dryer ever. Ithe only plus is that you are walking distance from tube stop, ciudad lineal ..
I have booked a couple room and in the bathroom there was only one set of towel, the booking was with wifi but there was no free wifi, if we wanted we were supposed to buy and the minimum was a day for 4 euro, to finish the time I have been robed in Travelodge Madrid Alcala, I put the car in the car parking for les then 10 minutes only to put my luggage in and had to pay a full day parking of 8 euro. I will never stay in this hotel again.
I was surprised to see that I had to pay for an extra if I wanted to have wifi in my room, what the h..l!!!!!!! I have never seen something like this, for sure not in a 100 euros night hotel. This is just disgraceful
