This facility was a 10+. The hospitality was awesome. Recognizing my Diamond status with an upgrade, fresh fruit and note, was very much appreciated. The in-room amenities (towel warmer, robe/slippers, bath sheets for towels, night light in the bathroom, espresso machine set-up with coffee/decaf, creamer, real cups/saucers/spoons) was truly amazing. And, the front desk had a converter to lend me when mine went out. In addition, this was the only room that had a queen bed with room to still walk around the bed. The breakfast was truly wonderful. There was an amazing buffet in addition to a menu that I could choose from for a hot-cooked egg dish. The location was perfect. Just a block from the Metro and right in the center of town.

Overall I was satisfied with the stay but still need to mention the negative side.
Rooms are small, one cannot consider them a perfect room as so much of things placed in the rooms that you will find it very compact. They show you 2 window rooms in the rate slab but honestly, the money will not be justified as the rooms are small and they are only charging for 2 windows.
In-room dining is very poor in terms of communication and clearance. Not many options you will find in the hotel for dining and refreshing.
Room cleaning is again a major problem as I found my room, not up to the mark especially the bathroom and floors of the room.
Positive side
The best location steps away from famous and well known Gran Via.
The staff is very polite and humble.
The front office staff I found very professional & cooperative.
Room linen is perfect and very fresh to use, well maintained with proper hygiene.

We have been in Indigo Gran Via in December 2021: the Covid 19 was still with us. That time we found the place a a true haven of sanity and hospitality in the midst of difficult times. In Europe many places were crazy, not in Indigo Gran Via.
This time it was even better: cordiality and hospitality is a must with check-in staff and with breakfast staff.
Location is very is very convenient both to move to and from the airport and to visit many places in Madrid or nearby. Train stations are subway reachable.Train stations are subway reachable and subway is just a block or two, depending of the line you need.
We were kindly up-graded to a better room and were given a welcome drink which we had in the roof bar, where we ate one night: it has a beutiful view of nightly Madrid and allows not to go out if you are very tired after walking and walking around this beautiful city. Atmosphere was festive in that place, all the times we went there.
Room is quite comfortable and the bathroom is quite big and had all the comforts you could ask for. Perhaps, the only light criticism one could made is that the working place is not very big and it lacks a bit of light . Possibly it is due that is an hotel oriented above all to tourism .
Housekeeping is quite good and we found our room was thourough cleaned every day, which we appreciated so much.
Breakfast is delicious and though we found it had no so many varieties as it had during December 21, everything was delicious. Staff very kind.
I would like to make one last comment: I appreciate the hospitable quality of a hotel and I must say that when we checked out early in the morning, the staff was kind enough to show us, in great detail, which metro station was convenient for us. Indigo Gran Vía will beour hotel in our next trip to Madrid. Thanks a lot!!!

We arrived after booking five nights with evening meal and breakfast, but were immediately disappointed to learn that the restaurant was closed. After a long arduous journey a hot a.la-carte meal would have been ideal but all that was available were bar snacks that were the everyday substitute for what we had expected. The receptionist Roma, apart from imparting disappointing news, was pleasant and welcoming and mention must be made of Christian in the bar whose humour and service made the poor meal substitute so much more enjoyable. The room was small and had an outlook that one would a draw comparison with a prison cell and oddly shaped but had all the amenities we required and a shower that functioned precisely as it should. The rooftop pool was only large enough for one to swim energetically and the water was considered cold. The gym, although visually fully equipped had cycle machines that creaked and squeaked and in need of service while it would have been nice to be able to control the unwanted blaring music from the tv screen. Buffet breakfasts (served in the closed restaurant) had everything one would require and was ably operated and administered by Frida. One should be aware that when Christian was not on duty in the bar to provide a service for the bar snack substitutes, the level of competence dropped considerably - waiting over an hour for a club sandwich was certainly not acceptable...With so much competition in the centre of the city I think this hotel, although in a super location, needs to upgrade its services and facilities to deliver what is on the label

Location is central to several tourist sites. All staff we encountered were professional, friendly, and helpful. Room was on the small side but hotel rooms in Europe are typically on small side. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t speak to the food but the bartender at the bar was wonderful.
The only drawback ( a big one if you are sensitive to fragrances) is the exceptionally over fragranced lobby. While many hotels are currently embracing a trend of “custom scents” and noxiously filling hotels with said scents, this hotel has taken that beyond anywhere else we have stayed. Entering the lobby the chemical air freshener smacks you in the face, making eyes water within seconds and providing the start to a headache within minutes. I worry for front desk staff who are breathing in a fragrance that is so strong it can’t possibly be healthy to breathe in for hours at a time.
As long as you can hold your breath to check in and run through the lobby any time you are coming/going, this hotel is a good stay for tourists wanting to be near popular sites.

Dear Katherine Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We're glad to hear that you found our hotel's location convenient and that you encountered professional, friendly, and helpful staff during your stay. We appreciate your understanding regarding the size of the room, as European hotel rooms can indeed be smaller compared to those in other regions. We apologize for any discomfort caused by the strong fragrance in our lobby. We'll definitely take your feedback into consideration and look into addressing this issue to ensure a more pleasant experience for all our guests. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide you with an even better experience. If you have any further comments or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Best Regards Team Indigo Madrid - Gran Vía

This hotel located in heart of Madrid and near by metro and lot of attractions. This time I chose a gather view room for my solo travel this time during 13-16 June, the room space is good enough and clean.
However, I found out the room service list on the TV but honestly I cannot clear to see any single words, so I give up to order food via room service, so suggested that the font size should be bigger.
I also do the laundry on 14 Jun morning and I expected the laundry can be return at the same day but there is no follow up when I come to the hotel at the night time and I was told that the hotel cannot contact laundry company and I follow up again on the next day on 15 Jun morning, however my laundry will only to return at the night time around 7:00pm, but I don’t have any clean clothes to wear and I need to wash by hand and use the hairdryer to dry my cloths, and that is not what I expected.
But apart of this, I would say if compare to the other hotel price and location, it is ok to stay for a few days.

Dear March, Thank you for taking the time to provide detailed feedback about your recent stay with us. We're pleased to hear that you appreciated our central location and found your room spacious and clean. We apologize for the inconvenience you faced with the room service menu on the TV. Your suggestion regarding the font size is valuable, and we will look into making the necessary adjustments for better readability. We are truly sorry for the delay and miscommunication regarding your laundry service. We understand how frustrating this must have been, especially when you were left without clean clothes. This situation does not reflect the high standards we strive to maintain, and we will be addressing this issue with our team to prevent future occurrences. We appreciate your understanding and your constructive comments. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide a more seamless experience in the future. Best regards, Team iNDIGO Madrid - Gran Vía

The Hotel Indigo Gran Via is perfectly situated just 27m or 250 feet from the Gran Via. The hotel is a short walk to many major sights including the Palacio Real, the Opera, Puerta del Sol and the Plaza Mayor. It is a short cab ride from the Attocha train station. The breakfast menu and standard buffet are terrific and should accommodate all tastes. This hotel can accommodate those visiting Madrid on business as well as those that want to spend time exploring Madrid. The rooftop bar is a nice way to spend some time after a busy day in Madrid. The staff are efficient and thorough and make your arrival and departure easy. At a reasonable price for a hotel located in the center of a large city this hotel is a perfect choice. They should make their IHG hotel group proud.

A lovely hotel in a great location!
Our room was not huge but it was well designed, clean and well equipped. The air conditioning was quietly efficient, the bed was comfortable and the bed linen soft so we slept really well
The breakfast buffet, while a little expensive at €20, offered a good selection with a choice of hot sides to order. The rooftop bar was lively and good value compared to some others in the city.
All the staff were friendly and professional. I'd happily stay again!

The hotel is in an ideal position in central Madrid, the rooms and communal areas are spotlessly clean. The rooms are well layed out with good facilities, however a little noisy, especially if your room is near a lift shaft. As a frequent traveller i understand that the staff make or break a hotel. In the case of Indigo, the staff are helpful, friendly and very efficient, not least on the front desk where Fran was supreme. Fran undertook the role of concierge on a number of occasions and delivered every time, nothing was ever to much for him and he is an absolute credit to the hotel. Well done Fran.

Excellent clean and very comfortable hotel
We have been staying for a few days and we are very happy
Convenient to all attractions and within walking distance of many
We are taking advantage of half board and the dinner is perfect, the chef is really good and prepares each dish with care
Waiters always attentive and available
The panoramic terrace is very suggestive as is the infinity pool
The only flaw is that sometimes you have to wait until late afternoon to clean the room
