Excelent option for Madrid!; two blocks from Paseo de la Castellana,in the hard of Madrid. Very elegant, very comfortable rooms and bathrooms, all details covered, excelent service at the reception desk and room service. Great, great breakfast, is like lunching, with extremelly eficient and kind service. Congratulations!
This hotel was great. The location was great. The room was very spacious. And what can I say about the staff. Absolutely superb. The breakfast buffet and all that amazing fresh fruits were delicious.!!!
Excellent location near the Prada Museum and Retiro Park. Our suite was comfortable with a modern bath that was spacious. This hotel has a small boutique feel. Guillermo at the front desk was extremely helpful and pleasant. All of the staff are very friendly and anxious to please, but we happened to arrive when Guillermo was at the front desk, and we continued to ask him our questions, and he was most gracious in answering them.
This was the perfect location and perfect hotel in Madrid. We could walk to all the museums, very safe and beautiful neighborhood. The lobby is small, but the breakfast dining room is beautifully appointed, and the food was great. Everybody working there was so nice. We were upgraded to a very big luxurious room with all the old world charm. It was the biggest bathroom we’ve ever had at a European hotel. We liked having an espresso machine in the room and a mini fridge. The bath robes were luxurious and we had a view of the park across the street. We highly recommend this property.
My sister and I stayed here in October 2022 for 5 nights. The hotel was comfortable and the service was excellent. All staff were gracious and helpful. The food was very good. Veronica, Guada, David and Guillermo at the front desk were great. All the service staff in the bar and restaurant were top notch but Anmar was a particular delight and handled our non existent Spanish with charm and good humor. The hotel is near a magnificent park and abundant restaurants are nearby.
I love the location and the friendly hospitable staff of this hotel. From my arrival greeting by the bellman to a few questions throughout my stay, each and every person was helpful & friendly. Convenient access to the beautiful Retiro Park and easy walking distance to the old town area, the train station and many other desired attraction. A unique building that was clean, comfortable and well maintained. I loved my suite, with balconies, jetted tub and fireplace. The breakfast was a buffet of plentiful and tasteful fare with efficient & friendly service. One night I relaxed in the restaurant for a nightcap .. again comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Perfect from start to finish, if you’re looking for a hotel that isn’t your typical cookie cutter hotel, this is a great place. I’ll see you my next visit to Madrid!…
The front desk staff was exceptionally warm and welcoming at check in (Salva). The restaurant server (Anmar) handled our group of six efficiently and with humor and charm. The bar and baggage (David) personnel were equally outstanding. The staff made the three- day stay a pleasure. The room was clean and comfortable but somewhat spare.
The hotel is amazing!! The staff is very very nice and the hotel is awesome! 100% recommend staying there. Plus, the location is great! It is in front of the Parque del Retiro and it is really convenient. They even kept our luggage for a few days after and they were really nice.
Stayed for 7 nights with my daughter. The staff was delightful, helpful and always friendly. Hotel itself was quiet and clean. I believe out room was a Jr. suite. Tons of room. In a More quiet area of the city, but an easy walk to Sol/Opera/ Metro areas. The park across the street is fantastic.
Very beautiful, historical and close to the center hotel. It’s also right next to the lovely park as an another option to enjoy you time there. Good but not great breakfast (worth thew pice though), beautiful interior decorations, friendly and professional staff - as pros. As cons - thew hotel has seen its better days clearly: shabby rugs, not perfectly clean area( room we stayed in), some places of the room’s interior were worn, sinks were stuck, toilet door was opening with a squeak.. and an internet for a fee =) it’s not that I’m being greedy, but come on. In 2022 no free internet? Even low-speed? Just a shame. Also thing to consider - staff asked to leave keys at the front desk for the security reasons - keys were real mechanical keys. With room number written on it and the hotel name as well. It’s ok in general, as staff recognized us and provided with keys right away, and still we felt a bit uncomfortable leaving our valuables in the room. Nonetheless! I’m really now writing this to recap the experience, and it looks like a bad one, though It wasn’t. Yes, the hotel it rather old, yes, it has it’s drawbacks, yet we enjoyed the stay. The staff that’s made it special and enjoyable. I recommend this place…
