When we visited, they were doing some construction and there was some scaffolding by the front. Overall, it was a great hotel. It seemed like it was newly and there was even a laptop in our room. The hotel is located just minutes from the...More

Thank you for your review of our hotel. As you say, our hotel is in the city center.
We hope see you again in one of our hotels.
The hotel is clean and the beds are all right. Service is friendly.
Don't expect much.
They speak English well. We also bought the tour bus ticket on the front desk and they explained us everything correctly.
Really well located.
I traveled to Spain with a group of students and teachers, and our tour company booked this hotel for us. I was very pleased with the location--very close to metro stops, close to Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor. Lots to do within very short...More

Very nicely located this hotel is nothing special but nice for a weekend and very good value for money. The rooms smell a bit weird, I don't know which air freshener they use but it is definitely not the best, however the rooms are spacious and...More

Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to
the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighbourhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
