Hotel Miau was a wonderful place to stay. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. They provided a lot of information including restaurant recommendations. The location is terrific—just a short walk from the Prado, the Cathedral, the Royal Palace, and many other attractions. The included breakfast buffet was delicious with many great options to choose from. The room was well-designed, clean, bright, and cheerful. I definitely recommend it.
Overall good, staff were always friendly and bubbly. Breakfast was buffet style but with lots of local meats, cheeses and pastries. Room was a good size with a cute balcony and a fair sized bathroom with a great shower. The fridge in the room wasn’t the most practical but kept food well chilled. The only downsides were that the tea and coffee facilities had been removed due to Covid and the air conditioning was switched off centrally. It wasn’t overly warm but due to the noise coming from the bars on the square it wasn’t possible to sleep with the balcony doors open for fresh air. Having said that, the overall value, location and staff make this place well worth a visit.
The location was perfect, within very easy walking distance of Madrid's main attractions and for a very competitive price. The staff were exceptional especially Luis who went out of his way to help us from when we arrived and even after we had checked out. The room and beds were all very good and breakfast as good as many offered at much more expensive hotels. We fully recommend it.
What an amazing hotel, perfect location overlooking the Plaza de Santa Ana. Close to all local tourist spots. Our weekend break was made even more perfect by the amazing staff at your hotel. In particular a young lady called Marisol who went above and beyond in providing us with maps and advice at all hours of the day. She was pleasant, helpful and a friendly smiley face to greet us as we entered the hotel after hours wandering the streets of Madrid. Marisol your an asset to Hotel Miau. Thanks for a perfect weekend break. Il be back 100%
I loved everything starting from the receptionists (Stanislava, Raquel & Marisol) who were all very nice and helpful. The room was super clean, spacious and smelled very nicely. Hotel location is epic!!! Breakfast buffet was very rich for a 3-star hotel. I would love to stay there again if I ever visit the beautiful city of Madrid.
Spent 1 night here a couple weeks ago. Hotel Miau is in a great location between Atocha and many of Madrid's main tourist sites. The hotel's staff were delightful and very helpful, and the room was quite comfortable. Would stay here again
This is the place to be if you want the center of Madrid, where it's happening ! Lovely Hotel, great service, clean room, great shower. Free wifi. We got a room with a view to the Plaza, loved it, a bit noisy, but who cares. Hotel lobby reception opened 24 hrs a day. Marisol the young lady that welcomed us, could not have been any nicer. She is really an asset, all smiles all the time. Helped out with train scheduling and others odds and ends. Will definitely comeback.
We stayed here for 3 nights and were very happy indeed with our choice. It had everything we needed for a short break in Madrid. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable with a great view of the Plaza St Ana but very well soundproofed so we had a good nights sleep. Comfy bed, good shower, hairdryer, toiletries and a safe in the room. Breakfast buffet had plenty of choice and was good value. The location is perfect for the main tourist attractions and for a wide choice of bars and restaurants. I reviewed the hotel on Booking .com but somehow forgot to give a title or score and despite my glowing comments the title ‘ Passable’ and score of 5 was added ( not by me) and unfortunately I couldn’t change it. I wanted very much to put the record straight! This hotel is so much better than ‘passable’ and I would give a score of at least 9. I hope anyone looking on Booking. Com will read the comments and ignore the inaccurate score and hopefully will also be checking on Trip Advisor. We would definitely recommend Hotel Miau and would stay here again if we are ever in Madrid. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay at a very reasonable price.…
My family stayed at Hotel Miau on 2 occasions in September. The first night, we had a group of 4 in one room, and although the room was typically European small, it was sufficient for us and our luggage. I will say that the shower in the room was tiny. The air conditioning worked really well and the room was quiet and clean. The second time, 3 of us stayed for 3 nights in a triple room. Again, the room was right-sized, and this time the shower was plenty big (a walk-in). We did not eat breakfast. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. The front desk was very helpful in arranging cabs to the airport, storing luggage, etc...The hotel is quite centrally-located and we walked all over. We booked months ahead and got what I consider a very good rate. Family members stayed elsewhere on Plaza Santa Ana and paid 3x as much. Would definitely stay again.…
I've just returned from 4 nights in a lovely room overlook the square. It was very clean and the bed was comfy. The aircon was very efficient and needed in a very hot September. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
