Stayed here for 2 nights as we were going to the Real Madrid v Barca game. The hotel was more than adequate, basic as was expected but very clean with a good shower and very helpful staff, we did not book breakfast but it looked ok but I don't think there was any hot food.It is only a 5 min walk to the metro and 15 mins into the centre. It was a bit noisy on the road side better if you had a room at the back I would say but did not keep me awake for too long. Had a pre-booked taxi from the airport that eventually went according to plan but on our return trip hotel booked us a taxi which cost 20 euro's less than the pre booked one, took about 15 mins but if you took the metro out to the airport it takes about an hour with plenty of changes, best to buy a multi-trip ticket for the metro 10 trips 15 euros. All in all a good trip and I would recommend the hotel for a short stay.

We stayed here 3 nights. The room is not big but we managed with it. The staff is amazing and very friendly . We always like to have extra pillows and that was arranged without any problems. The shower is nice and warm and has good pressure. The internet is not that great and very slow maybe time for an upgrade. Can not watch Netflix. Breakfast was simple but nice and not to busy with people. The city is 10 minutes by metro and the metro station is 3 minutes walk from the hotel.

Really cover my expectations. Shower is strange because not have any way to close properly the door. Service is OK but a staff charge me two times room by mistake but not as I was expecting.

Place is well located and well comunicated.

Probably I will come back

Well the hotel was in a quite decent location but the room was really small. Sound proofing was good. I did not like the open toilet inside the room. There was no privacy sitting on the pot. They should at least put a closed door. Also it was really small that a normal person cannot even stand properly. It was a little overpriced. The staff was amazing. Breakfast was just fine considering the price.

I have never been to a Ibis Budget Hotel and was not sure what to expect. Upon arrival at the Airport i took the Train downtown Madrid. The hotel is about 200-250 meters away from Puente De Vallecas Metro Station. The rooms itself are very small but offer everything you need for a short stay. Check in and out were quiet fast. Breakfast is also available for 4.50 Euro per Person. The hotel is new and very modern. The only issues i had is that my room did not offer a phone to call out or call the front desk. Which in case of a emergency is not a good thing. All in all i need to say this hotel has impressed me a lot and when staying in Madrid again i would stay there again over and over

Our booking (made via booking.com) was not found in the system, which caused unpleasant 1-hour wait at the reception, with no indication about what was going to happen. Eventually an alternative room was arranged and free breakfast for one day was offered for the inconvenience.

The hotel is a new establishment, located very close to a metro station, which is well-connected to Madrid city center (4 stops to Atocha). Neighborhood felt safe at all times, a Carrefour express is nearby, which is open 7 days a week until late.

The room was OK with comfy bed. There's no wardrobe in the room. Sound isolation was a disaster: We heard all the noise from the corridor and rooms next to, below and above our room.

Overall it offers good value for the price, though I have stayed at better Ibis Budget hotels elsewhere.

Hotel is close to Puente de Vallecas Metro Station but only if you know where to go. The only indicator is to go towards Burger King and keep going on the same road further down.
Not very easy to haul luggage from the metro station to the hotel's entrance. The area has heavy traffic and there are no escalators/elevators on Puente de Vallecas Metro Station. Better option would be to take a cab.
Cab from airport to hotel costs 30 Euros. Going to airport via metro involves a lot of changes, so pretty inconvenient if you are travelling with anything more than hand luggage. And Spain Metro Stations are very poorly constructed with respect to escalators/elevators.
The neighborhood doesn’t look super appealing but seemed safe, but nothing much to see in the vicinity.
Check-in time 12 PM onwards; Check-out time is noon
While coming from Atocha train station, take the Metro line 1 (coloured light blue on maps) from Atocha Renfe metro station going in the direction of Valdecarros and get down at Puente de Vallecas Metro Station. You may take the way out to Avenida de la Albufera from the metro, take into notice that there are stairs to get out and no escalators.
Can safely say the worst hotel I had ever stayed. I had stayed in other ibis hotels, and had never had complains, but this one is really bad, though I must admit I had never stayed in ibis Budget and probably never will after this experience.
Toilet and Bath cubicle are separate which is not a problem in itself but both are so tiny you cannot even turn around without hitting the walls.
Toilet door neither has door-knob nor a lock, there is just a huge gaping hole cut in the door to open and close it, spreading the stink in the entire room.
Similarly no door-knob nor a lock in the bath cubicle and the door is frosted glass; the gaping hole gives a free show to anyone who is in the room while you are taking a bath.
A tiny sink in the room; mind you not in toilet, not in bath cubicle but right in front of your bed.
The towels were so thin that you get a feeling that when proper hotels want to dispose off their towels they sell them to normal-ibis, and when normal ibis wants to throw them they parcel those to ibis budget. The tissues are thicker than their towels.
No cupboard in the room to store your stuff, there is just one shelf without any door; you literally live out of your suitcase.
The bedsheet in our room on our first stay was torn, had a hole in the middle. This place has a facination for holes, there are holes all over the place.
Before booking, I clearly checked with them if it will be possible to get hot boiling water in jug (since the room has no electric kettle), I have a medical condition where I need hot water by my side that I keep sipping overnight, which they agreed to provide. And guess what, when I reach there and ask for the same the response is that they don't have a jug. If they don't have a jug, why was an outright lie communicated to me over email.
The staff is poorly trained and I guess under-paid, apart from a nice guy whom I met once on night-duty, every person is horrible. Especially an elderly guy who loves to throw his weight around and clearly hates his job as well as all his hotel guests.
The breakfast is again hopelessly bad, there are no hot items; its so ordinary that instead of paying for breakfast you will be better off buying the same stuff from the supermarket nearby.
The supermarket Carrefour is within walking distance and you will find it on your way from Puente de Vallecas. The best part is that it is open 24/7.
You might want to stay here if you are on a very tight budget and all alone in a room, but not a place where you would want to stay with someone you are not really intimate with.
The motion-sensitive light in the bathroom keeps going off while you are sitting on commode. The light was not even working when we checked in the room, but luckily that was promptly fixed.
I booked this hotel on the basis of the positive feedback by other people, but considering my experience I feel they are talking about a different place altogether. Not planning to stay here ever and will not recommend it to anyone either.
No Indian/Vegetarian restaurant that I could find nearby.

Stayed here recently during our short stay at Madrid, was an impressive stay

1. Rooms: Modern, Stylish and Clean with comfortable beds. Not the most spacious but this is what you will expect for a budget hotel

2. Location: 5 minutes walk away from Puente de Vallecas metro. Plenty of eateries and supermarket nearby

3. Pricing: they offer a room at approximately 55+ euros per night, and that’s really cheap at Madrid!

Overall a splendid stay, highly recommended!

Location is good, close to the metro station. It was not too noisy despite the highway nearby. The room was clean and not extremely small. Strange thing that both the shower cabin and the toilet opens directly into the room, which is okay for the price, however tha toilet door is not closing properly (there is a 15 cm gap on the bottom and the top), so there is no chanche for any kind of privacy. Good for couples, maybe for reeeeally good friends. ;)

Is easy to find car parking? Or does the hotel have car parking?
Answer from Jammo79

I can't answer honestly because I've been there without car. I can say I've seen a car parking in front of the hotel entrance but nothing else about. I also can say metro station is quite close the hotel, about 5 mins walking.
