A very comfortable hotel just across the road from Atocha station. The airport express bus has a stop at Atocha so it was only a short walk to the hotel. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable and quiet.
First of all, after an exhausting time trying to get from the airport to the city center, it was so wonderful to emerge from the train station and see that our hotel was right across the street. The temperature was already hot outside, and it was a welcome relief to step into the air conditioned lobby. The front desk staff let us check in early, and actually upgraded our rooms so that we could go upstairs right away. The entire staff was helpful with advice and they assisted us with restaurant recommendations and reservations. There is a little bakery on the side of the lobby where you can get coffee, pastries, and prepared sandwiches, as well as a restaurant upstairs. We went to the areas around the Sol and Gran Via metro stations to shop and go to restaurants, and were happy to get back to our quieter neighborhood at Only You. The hotel is across the street from an interesting anthropology museum and is very near the Museo Reina Sophia. You can also walk to the Prado. There are several nice parks in the area too. We explored the residential neighborhood around the Atocha train station as well and were able to do laundry at a regular self-service laundromat. We also found a medium-sized grocery store within walking distance; I think it was "Mas por Menos." The rooms were comfortable and the beds were perfect!…
Great location and vibes! Superb receptionists helping you in anything you need, even if you arrive late for your check-out after a competition, you need to take a taxi or take away some food. Modern decoration.highly recommended! I will comeback!
Modern and comfortable hotel… close to train station and museums. Rooms very clean and quiet. (Mostly) friendly and professional service too (special shout-out to Razvan at breakfast!). Would recommend.
The hotel has a great location, across from the Atocha railway station and a 10 min walk to The Prado Museum. Staff is super nice and helpful. Room was large, very clean. We asked for a quiet room and we got a room with inner court view, which was indeed quiet. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we ever had. The largest variety of cheeses, charcuterie meats, options for eggs (hard- or soft-boiled, scrambled), yogurts, fresh vegetables, fruits, cakes, croissants, too many to include all. A bonus was the appealing presentation of the buffet, showing a real interest to make it pleasant. Overall the hotel creates a homey feeling, You feel welcome and appreciated. Would definitely stay there again!
The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. The lobby area offered food, cafe, spirits, and a friendly staff. Beautiful hotel and an amazing vibe. Waking distance to metro, parks and local restaurants! Easy to catch taxis and Ubers as well!
This hotel is literally across the street from the Madrid Atocha train station. Very easy to find once you exit the station. Centrally located, we walked to El Retiro park in the morning. We also did the hop-on-hop-off bus tour which dropped us off close to the hotel. Hotel itself is beautiful, every staff extremely nice and helpful. Despite the central location, we found the rooms to be quiet. We bought the buffet breakfast when we booked and it is WORTH EVERY PENNY. It is at their rooftop restaurant which not only has an amazing view, the food was DELICIOUS. Beautifully presented with many many options including an omelette/egg station. Early morning was a bit chilly in early October but they had heaters on which was an added bonus. We also had drinks and some tapas at night at the same rooftop, which were delicious as well. We would definitely return here if we are ever in Madrid again. You can't go wrong.…
I can't recommend this hotel strongly enough. From the moment you step into the interesting, alluring lobby and approach the reception desk it is magical. The staff is beyond welcoming and eager to assist. The room was decadent in its comfort (zebra patterned terry cloth robe = fabulous!) and size. The breakfast selections were plentiful and delicious (hot and cold). The roof top dining is a treat to start the day - indoors or out. The hotel's location is perfect to walk to almost all of this city's amazing attractions (cultural, natural, eating and shopping). One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in (worldwide!).
Excellent hotel and service. Convenient to the train station and walking distance to a few attractions. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Ester at the front desk went above and beyond to help us out. Elevators can get busy and be vigilant with ordering Ubers at the train station. Pick up at hotel. That goes without saying but it’s worth noting. Would stay here and with this brand again.
Great location, fantastic modern boutique hotel and ticks all the boxes. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself is well decorated, well thought-out rooms and perfect location for both the city, Atocha train station and links to the airport. Definitely my go-to hotel for next time I’m in Madrid
