I like this place very much. We had nice room with balcony, big bed and simple furniture, in nice colors. Bathroom was modern. I highly appreciate cleanliness of the room. I felt very good in this property. The location is perfect, everything is reachable by walk. The price was affordable comparing to others expansive hotels in the city. Recommend.

If it had not been for our experience on a Saturday night, we would have scored this small hotel 4, maybe 5. Immaculately clean, handy location, comfortable with a good shower, we had a good night's sleep on the Sunday. The hotel is only a short walk to the very centre of town and overlooks the streets near many bars...

The room was not as stated and when I asked for a refund because it wasn't as expected the owner pretended not to speak English! The only good thing about the hotel was the location - stood outside for 10 minutes when we arrived with no reply, angle of bath/shower was dangerous, cardboard stuck over the exit sign in our...

Nice and clean place, recently redecorated in a delicate way. The straff was very helpful and offered information on the main sights. Short way to the monuments of the historic part of the city. Also very quiet. Good value. I arrived with bus and the Pension was a short walk away.

I have brought groups here many times. This is a beautiful, clean pension that has recently been completely rebuilt. It is right on the edge of Old Town, and convenient to the bus station and the Camino Santiago. The owners are lovely people. I have selected May 2015, but actually stayed here a couple of years before that. I will...

My fiance and I stayed here during San Fermin on a two week trip to Europe and couldn't be more pleased. Jose was the nicest, most helpful host that we could have asked for. He's always there to make sure your needs are seen to without being overbearing. The rooms are clean, if a bit sparce. The place has tons...

Echoing the trend of other reviews; great stop - over place and convenient for the old city and all the pinchos bars and in fact the paseo de sarasate is the closest you can park in the street to the old city without a resident's pass. Jose polite but discreet, wi-fi works fine, room compact but clean, bed comfy. We...

True what they say: it is very quiet, very well located, and the owner is very friendly and helpful without being in your face. My single room was pretty cosy but the en suite bathroom was good and the price was very reasonable (not San Fermin season).

I recently stayed Pension Sarasate and was utterly delighted by how convenient, quiet and comfortable it was. I had completed my Camino Aragonese earlier than anticipated and Jose was extremely helpful by going on the internet and finding me a really good place to stay in San Sebastian. He was also able to accommodate me an extra night. The day...
