I was assigned the Hotel Eslava by my compliant secretary assisting with the planning of my Camino walk. It has to be reviewed in context. It has no pretensions as to luxury. It is a functional stock standard, boring, budget class offering. My single room was compact (read tiny) and fraying with a blank view of the old city walls,...

Modest but clean, historic. Breakfast was very nice in a good clean, friendly atmosphere. Came recommended by friend. Walked the Camino Francis, and returned and stayed there again. Very central location.

Fully advisable for , position , price and excellent staff. Not so large rooms but satisfactory for all others rooms and bathrooms be well-off including cleanliness . No noise from outside and good view from city wall hotel side.

If you are doing the Camino this IS your stop. It is literally steps away and right in the center of all the Pamplona action: close to food, amazing architecture, churches, and great Spanish culture-read food. Fabulous views from little balconies, comfortable, clean, and a really awesome breakfast. Friendly staff and a great ambiance. Beats many four-star places. Would do...

Great location around the corner from the most beautiful park in Pamplona and a short walk into the centre either down the street or around the back of the Museo Navarra. Rooms are rather small with basic furnishings but this is very definitely a hotel not a hostel. Some rooms have a small balcony overlooking the gardens and it's worth...

Nice location close to the city center with a ten minute walk. Quiet and offers the basics. Moderately priced, but may be more than some Peregrinos may want to spend. Still if you want old traditional accommodations from honest people it is worth looking into. I would return here as a solo visitor. Excellent camping equipment store nearby. Decent breakfast...

We stayed one night whilst walking the Camino. The room had all of the expected facilities but lacked the comfort and space of comparable hotels that we were booked in along the way, hence a little disappointing. The hotel gave the impression of needing a little more light and updating (care and attention), the room would have been more spacious...

A simple family run hotel 5 minutes from the action in Pamplona. Very quiet (we were on the top floor), substantial breakfast and helpful staff - although mainly Spanish speaking. Close enough to walk to the bus station and 100 metres from the Camino so a good choice for pilgrims

I recently spent three nights at the Eslava. It is reasonably priced and in a great location. The hotel is located on the edge of the old part of the city, across from a beautiful park and very near the route of the Camino de Santiago. Our stay was originally planned for two nights but our luggage was lost and...
