I like the location of this hotel, if you don't want to be in the center of Benidorm, I like to see some hustle and bustle, I would say if you really want to sit quietly outside the center of Benidorm, this is a suitable hotel !

I think the breakfast is fine, but I think the buffet in the evening is really terrible! Later in the reviews I also found it again, but the food is cold. I have now eaten at the buffet for 5 days and there were a few days when it was reasonable to eat, but the food is almost never replenished and it really seemed like It had been there for hours, I felt nauseous several times and it left a bad aftertaste. There is often no cook in the kitchen, my mother has allergies, so that is useful to know: there is nothing about allergies in the food! I have also noticed how many people come to the restaurant, how there is more choice and better food, if there are not many people then there is not much choice and the food is also much less!

In the end we complained at the reception and luckily we were allowed to eat in the cafeteria (if you want to stay in this hotel I recommend eating at the cafeteria it is a lot better and the waiters are nice too)

I found the staff friendly.

I don't like the entertainment either, there is a list of all kinds of activities in Spanish and we asked for a list in English but they didn't have one, the children's disco also looked boring, usually there were 2 girls and only 2 children.

You should also check when Terra Mitica is open, yes or no, because it is often not open, which is why we also went to this hotel, but unfortunately it was closed, so I advise you to look carefully.

The hotel rooms are fine, there are some stains on the walls and the sewer which smells very bad and unfortunately there is no microwave or oven or gas stove, etc. The rest of the rooms are fine.

I also thought that the cleaning was not done properly, my bed was almost always not made and toilet paper was not replenished, towels were sometimes dirty, which could be improved.

The swimming pool also needs some maintenance.

In general it is good: good facilities and, above all, very friendly staff. The bathroom products are also good. It is designed to go with children to theme parks. Let's go with the buts:
- To buy anything you have to go to Benidorm, if you eat at Terra Mitica or at the hotel, the food is very average and very expensive.
- On the terrace you cook and there is no clothesline, which does not fit on the railing to the ground.
- We are 3 adults, the room is too small. We only have 3 chairs on the terrace.
- Be careful with the bugs, they will fry you with bites.
- the animation guys, very nice; the shows, almost all of them weak. In any case, you can barely see them because the schedules are designed for foreigners, as once you leave dinner all the tables on the terrace are already occupied and you cannot see the show.
- The pools are pretty good, however there is little shade, and to go to the coolest pool you have to take a walk.
- despite having another restaurant it was not open, however the hotel was full, so the lines at the restaurant were tremendous both to enter and to get food. I find it degrading. The food, very average, but it can happen. Three days after arriving they changed the water tap to two jugs in the breakfast buffet, all so that people wouldn't fill bottles. Maybe, if the glasses were bigger, people wouldn't bring a bottle; Even if it were to take it outside the hotel, I don't think it represents a significant loss for the hotel and it does show a very bad image and adds extra work to the employees, who are already quite busy. Very shabby.

Grand Luxor Village

We stayed in a villa within the village for two weeks during mid August. When you drive upto the entrance you are greeted by security who work 24/7. Once you have been supplied the paper wrist band you just simply show that to security to entre. Please keep in mind that a hire car is essential staying in the village because you are not within walking distance of the beach.

You get a lovely bonus of unlimited access to Aqualandia Water Park, Mundomar Animal Park, & Terra Mitica Theme Park, which is connected to the hotel. Aqualandia & Mundomar are about a 20 minute drive away,  but are situated next to each other. ***Tip*** get to Aqualandia around 9:30 am because being there early gives you access to the slides with minimal queuing & you have a better chance of doing all the slides.

***Tip*** get to Mundomar around early afternoon when it's not so busy to see all the animals, especially the dolphins up close through the under water walk through.

At the villa there is plenty of parking available & only a short walk to your accommodation. The villas are cleaned everyday, but remember to place the red side of your card on the external door handle, or be prepared to be woken up around 8 to the voice of "House keeping". When you do require your villa cleaned simply leave the green side of your card on the external door handle & they will clean ir during the day.

The only issue with the villa is there is no oven to cook with so keep that in mind if you go shopping. You do have a microwave, coffee machine, fridge freezer & two hobs with frying pans. The toilet rolls are replaced too. That's a nice touch for a villa complex. There are plenty of pools situated around the village & some nice nice ones by the hotel which you can access by a private road.

We tried the buffet within the hotel & for 36 euros per person & the added extras of paying for you drinks. The food choice was sadly lacking & we tried it once, but never again. Overall this place is top quality but the little things can have the biggest impact which is why I've scored this 4 out of 5!

We had an impeccable stay. The rooms are spacious and this time we touched one with terrace. Everything was very clean and the cleaning staff was always attentive to any need. Thank you to Andrea, Esther and Tati for your work to maintain order and cleanliness.
To put some punch on it, some of the TV channels weren't seen. Also, they leave you some basic toiletries that you use the first time, but if you spend the mini toothpaste it is no longer replenished. But as we always do, there's no problem.
Breakfast and dinner are amazing. A lot of salad ingredients, variety of cheese and cold cuts, meats and fish that were not repeated any night. For the children there was also variety. And desserts, amazing.
Breakfasts, also very varied and adaptable to any diet.
Of course, drinks are not included in dinner (water either).
Hotel access to Terra Mitica is ideal. You have to travel about 100 m and access directly with the tickets included in the reservation, without saving queue. It's literally having direct access.
We've been to Halloween and the decor of the hotel was pretty good. In the park, honestly, we expected more decoration, but it was not bad either. In addition, there were continuous shows and themed actors that gave him an air of mystery.
The hotel has included parking, point in favor, and is easily accessible from the highway.
I also want to thank the animation team for children, who worked hard. Un 10
And to the rest of the hotel employees also a 10, from receptionists, waiters, cleaners, etc. All very friendly and attentive.
We'll be back for sure.

A great discovery, it is practically inside Terra Mitica, the villas have everything you need and are super well maintained, I was missing a kit for the kitchen (a cloth, scouring pad and dishwasher), you have towels available that you can change whenever you consider, Every few villas there is a swimming pool, which although it covers the most is 1.05, it is very good.
With all the villas occupied, there is plenty of parking and there is a lot of tranquility, with views of all of Benidorm.
In the Iberia area of the pools where you have the server for breakfast and dinner, you are supposed to have the right to two sunbeds, because they are paid, but I never once saw anyone who will control the sunbeds.
Things we liked less, the pools close at 8pm, it seems too early to me and even more so when you arrive from Terra Mitica dead from the heat that you want to take a bath.
The breakfast and dinner place are just a short walk away, since they are inside Terra Mitica and especially in the heat, the walk is not very appealing.
There are a lot of mosquitoes, the first day we asked for some device or insecticide, which they didn't bring us, I don't know if because they don't have them or they forgot, so the next day we bought, by the way there is a shopping center very very close.

We arrived on Thursday 03/28, we checked in in a selection room and in the evening when we turned on the whirlpool it turned out that it started to make dirt and black pieces, we notified the reception, they supposedly come and fix it, on Friday the same thing happens again. Same thing, they warn me again and the same thing happens again, but here they had left the room open with my belongings inside, they only know how to apologize, but they don't do anything since on Saturday it happens again with videos that I have recorded, I go to reception and At 11 p.m. they offer me a room change with a five-year-old girl who is almost asleep. I tell her that since it's been three days and I'm leaving on Monday, I'll stay as I am, but that they should reward me since I haven't been able to take advantage of what I contracted. and they tell me that they will give me a 20% discount for the next reservation, if not I am going to return to this hotel that is 4* superior and does not even reach 3*, which is a shame.

Me and my partner came to visit for a week, the hotel was nice but average for the price that we had paid. Location was too far from anywhere worth going so a car is needed if staying here, the hotel staff were nice other than the main hotel manager who charged us €300 for smoking on the balcony even though the maid gave us an ash tray and there were no no smoking signs on the balcony either?

We was accused of smoking in the room even though we only smoked on the balcony with the ash tray that was provided, also we shut the door when on the balcony so i feel as though this was unfair and they should not of let us upgrade too if that was the case.

We upgraded on our last night and it was worth every penny, it was €60 for a huge room with a jacuzzi bath and large balcony, massive difference compared to the small room we were given to begin with! The spa was lovely we really enjoyed that.

I can’t give more than a 2* since we were unfairly charged, the fact that we were charged €300 and being falsely accused of smoking inside when we did not left us feeling rubbish on our last day but u will give the 2* for the hotel grounds itself and the other staff were lovely and very helpful.

Also loved the old sports cars on the front! Nice touch.

The hotel is very large and comfortable. We have stayed at the hotel 1 week and the truth is that we would choose the same hotel again. The treatment of the staff is 100 out of 10. Every day they cleaned our room, always very attentive and always willing to solve any questions. We had breakfast and dinner included, there was a lot of variety every day, something repeated but delicious and fresh everything. Anyway, I highly recommend the Grand Luxor hotel!

This last weekend of July I visited this hotel with the family. The location is very good, next to Terra Mítica and very close to everything by car. There is nothing around. The facilities are correct for a 4-star superior, nothing fancy, the price of the drinks both in the restaurant and in the attached cafeteria somewhat excessive. The pool area is spacious and pleasant. Correct food. What surprised me negatively was that when it was time to go to sleep, the girls lay down on the sofa bed and said that the irons on the bed were digging into themselves. I tried and sure enough, the irons were literally digging into your back. I go down to reception to give a solution and they offer me a blanket, which I still don't know what for. The boy said that for quilting. There was no one from maintenance, it was around eleven at night, no one could give me a solution to that, no one had the key, there was no one from maintenance on duty, which I doubt. The mattresses on the other beds were also very sunken and uncomfortable. They offer me another room, I'm going to try the mattresses and anyway, the mattress is thin and the irons on the sofa bed dig in. In short....correct hotel, nothing fancy for 4 superiors and rooms with somewhat uncomfortable beds. Be careful with children resting in those beds. The next night they still didn't change the mattress, I told a cleaning lady and soon it was changed. Special mention to Elisabeth for her friendliness and good work, waitress
from the restaurant, after paying about €1,300 for three nights, with minimum tickets and a little more attention.
