My booking was made over the phone, with me looking at the Motor Parks website. I made sure that the room we booked was big enough as we were staying for the World Masters Games and had our archery gear with us. The price was also agreed on with a n email to confirm the price. When we arrived, I...

We stayed here on two occasions during our NZ trip. The first time we had a two-bedroom flat, which was spacious, if a little scruffy. On the second visit, our booking was downgraded to a studio flat, without any prior notification. This makes me question the owners' integrity. Everything, from the tired paintwork on the walls to the jumble of...

Has all the usual facilities, is clean and well run but cramped. It is convenient for the city and the airport but has no other features to recommend it and no real reason to stay longer than is conveniently necessary.

I booked a 2 bedroom flat two months before the date we were to travel and was emailed confirmation. 3 days before we arrived I was emailed to say we had been double booked and had been moved to another motel. This new place was a studio room with one double bed. We were given an old foldaway bed with...

The campground provided the normal power and water points adjacent to concreted level platforms which were just large enough for our 6.5 metre long caravan. The concreted sites were separated by sloping grassed areas, where we could park our car. Adequate, but not ideal in size of each site, and green space. A picnic table was placed on each green...

It's great to see this little gem still open .The owners plus management pro activitly making some wonderful changes. New dryers, more customer friendly reception area & later opening hours makes the travellers life a lot easier. Thanks for your friendly service and storing my bike. The extra non powered sites are a added benefit. Really like the changes.

This is probably the most central camping site/motor park in Auckland. It's about a five minute walk to the Avondale Railway station, so getting into the CDB is very easy. Theres also a Pak'nSave within walking distance. The service is good. We arrived after hours but called in advanced and they gave us a site number and arranged for us...

Despite booking a site over telephone months in advance, AND emailing them the week before, we weren't booked in to stay the day we arrived. Luckily we arrived at 9.30am. The non-powered "site" is just a tight side road, making it difficult for campervans to leave. This place is convenient for Pak n Save and train trips to Auckland City/Eden...

Dear Greg! We are sorry you had a bad experience. I would like to address a couple of your concerns: - All our non powered sites are unassigned, so bookings are not necessary. We never turn anyone down, but the spots are distributed on first come first serve basis. - We have plenty of spots on our lawn at the...

My Partner and I stayed in this park at the beginning and end of our trip on a powered site in our camper-van, it was close to Auckland and the Airport which was super convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful, with the facilities being adequate. The kitchen facilities are good, the showers fair (hot, free but old and...

Stayed here on saturday night so we could go to avondale markets Sunday morning. Hostess was friendly and helpful. Tourist cabin comfortable and very affordable. Have stayed here before and would happily stay again. Unit clean and camp was close distance to shopping centers. The only drawback was bed was very hard. I would recommend taking a toppa pad, but...
