GOOD: Great location !!!! Clean apartment, beautiful view and right next to great restaurants. Reminded me of Ocean drive in Miami. The front desk people were very nice and helped us sort out where to go. Only complaint is that wifi wasn't the best. Did not get signal in the room.

Never stayed at a hostal before so was a bit apprehensive, but turned out very good. Front desk clerk kind enough to show us 3 different rooms for us to choose from, picked one with a water view. Hostal clean, quiet and breakfast included for just about 70 euros. Downstairs was restaurant/bar, good food and wine at decent prices; the... More

Hostal El Globo is well situated on along the beach and is a short 20 minute bus ride into city center. I stayed here during Las Fallas festival for 6 days. It was clean and service was good. The breakfast was simple. The staff spoke english. My only negative review was when we got back from our daily activities we... More

We stayed at this hotel at the start and end of our Oct - Nov vacation. We selected this hotel based of the reviews provided on this site and they were spot on. The staff is competent and professional. The hotel is modest but clean and is situated right on the beach and above the coolest bar on the small... More

Right on Playa las Arenas.beach with a funky bar downstairs serving food and drinks all day and into the late night. Good value, for the location we paid around 75 euro for a double in early May. Room was clean but not fancy and 24hr reception always helpful and friendly. Recommend to all for a Valencia option to the old... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night en route from Mallorca to the UK in the midst of the volcanic ash disaster. We wanted somewhere cheap and were a bit concerned when dropped by a taxi at the rear as it seemed to simply be rooms above some shady bars and cafes. However, when viewed from the other side,... With temperatures in August in the high 80s, The Hostal El Globo makes an excellent choice for a beach/city holiday. Situated above a line of restaurants and bars at the end of the beach, close to the marina, it is in a great location if you are the kind of the person who likes to do city sightseeing in the...
