Great b&b located a few meters from the entrance of the stones of Matera.
I stayed with my family (2 children aged 7 and 10) only for one night, but the property is really well cared for and well run by the owner and his family... a thank you to his daughter who came to welcome us just arrived.
Very good suggestions for dinner and advice on the short visit to Matera, which is truly spectacular at any time of day and night.
Very comfortable room, furnished in a functional and spotless.
Breakfast with sweets of various types and savory to meet all requests, served directly at your table.
All the staff very kind, friendly and attentive to customer needs.
Congratulations and keep it up!!

I stayed for 2 nights with my family, welcomed by the owner Mr. Nicola, who was generous with useful advice, we were able to appreciate the quiet and hospitality of the structure. Located a few tens of meters from the entrance to the Sassi, it offers comfort and tranquility as well as cleanliness and an excellent breakfast served by the kind and attentive Mrs. Natalia. Absolutely recommended for visiting the splendid Matera.

Highly recommended! On arrival our host Nicolo helped us find a parking space (parking is at a premium and you need a bit of luck) Our room was clean and tidy - Casa Blanca is obviously well cared for with lots of TLC.

Its location just on the edge of the beautiful old town is perfect for exploring

One of our party was feeling poorly (not related to the really great breakfast provided) and Nicolo went out of his way to provide some medication.

Overall a lovely place and would stay again

The Casa Blanca is in a convenient location on the edge of the main tourist areas of Matera. It is a short walk to pretty much everything you would want to visit. We were greeted by Nicola on arrival and shown to our rooms with explanation of all facilities and services. Thereafter we did not have much contact with Nicola.
The ladies who delivered the breakfast service were lovely, and breakfast was plentiful with a good range of food from fruit and pastries to yoghurt and scrambled eggs.
The rooms were very spacious but perhaps a little sparsely furnished. Bathroom was OK.
WiFi and AC all good.

However, ...the overall feel of the B&B was of someone in the process of moving out. It was a little bare and sparsely furnished both in public areas and our room.
We shared a table for four with the friends we travelled with and on the first day breakfast was all delivered at the same time leaving no space on the table. We did explain that some of the items we would not require on following days so it was less crowded thereafter.
The room was not the cleanest we have had with some fluff on the floor and dirty grouting in the shower along with broken seal on the shower door.
We also felt a little hassled for payment of the tourist tax as we were asked as soon as we arrived and reminded later, as we had no cash on arrival. Other properties seemed to accept payment on departure.
The parking is on the street so luck of the draw as to how close you can find a space as it is a busy town. This is stated in the accomodation details but Booking.com filters don't allow to distinguish between public parking and on street parking

Structure well located in 5 minutes walk you reach the center of Matera but is still outside the ZTL so convenient to get there by car and unload your bags. It does not have private parking but you can park along the street for free (with a little luck). Room clean and with everything you need. Sweet and savoury breakfast in a room overlooking an internal courtyard.
Nice and helpful staff, ready to advise and also wanting to book both guided tours and recommended restaurants.

I visited with my family the beautiful Matera city from a thousand and one nights, we slept in this b & b very close to the center, what about simply sublime, beautiful and comfortable rooms and super clean. For the ladies / owners there are no adjectives to describe them are of a professionalism and hospitality that has no equal we relied on them for all the indications both for guided tours, both for the restaurant and I can only thank them because they made our stay even more comfortable. We will definitely return, what about thank you, thank you, a thousand times thank you.

Only stayed the one night, but wish we’d stayed longer. We were very lucky that we found a parking space right outside, but imagine parking would be difficult in the height of summer. We were greeted by the friendly owner, who gave us a map and suggested itinerary, he even recommended a restaurant and booked us a table. The room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely shower. Breakfast was generous and served in an efficient and friendly way. Cash Blanca is within easy walking distance of all the attractions that Matera had to offer. Highly recommended.

Strategic position with respect to the center of Matera as it is just outside the pedestrian area. So we arrived by car, found parking (with a bit of luck) right near the property and then always moved around on foot.
Really plentiful and quality breakfast. Courteous, fast and competent service. Compliments!
The breakfast area is also really nice.
Cleanliness and comfort of the rooms rated 9/10.
Friendly and competent host.

We were welcomed by Natalia and Silvia and immediately made us feel at home by giving us advice on what to visit and where to eat.
A small structure with only 4 clean and well-furnished rooms, strategic location a few steps from the Sasso Barisano and the center.
The only flaw is that it does not have parking but you can still find some nearby for a fee.
Really excellent breakfast for both sweet and savory options.
I advise!!

We stayed one night in the Casa Blanca and were able to enjoy the room La promessa. It was a dream. Very chicly furnished, plenty of space and super clean. Getting to the B&B and finding a parking space is a bit of a challenge, though. The breakfast was very good and the hostess picked us up at any time and asked if everything was OK. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the old town of Matera. We really liked Matera. We would book the Casa Blanca again on our next visit.
