The rooms are bright, quiet, clean and well-functioning.
The breakfast is varied from morning to morning and requests are met.

Maximum peace, care, cleanliness and friendliness. Fair prices.

It is just like being with your family, in a cave house restored with elegance and style, a few steps from the stones (Caveoso). Lovely rooms with windows towards the Murgia and therefore very quiet.
Great breakfast with sweet and savory. Possibility of free access to fresh coffee drinks.
Thank you Manuela for your welcome and sympathy.
The B&B is on the edge of the sassi caveoso, but is only a 5-10 minute walk from the heart of the sassi and the benefit of being a little further out is that Casastella is easy to find and you can park on the street outside.
Manuela made us feel extremely welcome, and although our Italian isn't great we managed to understand each other - so don't let a lack of Italian put you off staying. I'd wanted to visit Matera for years; I loved the city but I would return just to stay at Casastella again!
"The room with the cistern bath is quaint, the ground floor room airy and pleasingly minimalist, first-floor room with tricky staircase."Read full review
