I stayed in this charming property. Its location is fantastic, in the heart of the Sassi, and can be easily reached. The room and bathroom are spotless, with attention to detail and comfortable. Breakfast, with a rich buffet of both sweet and savory dishes, satisfies all needs. The staff is very kind, professional and helpful in providing suggestions and directions. The enchanting setting of the Sassi di Matera, the magical atmosphere of the location and the welcoming staff make the stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!!!

Words are not enough to describe the magic of Matera, but above all of the cave suite where we stayed for a few days First of all all the staff were very kind and helpful in everything Our suite was incredible carved into a cave truly wow!!! Clean and immense, more than 50m2. Location in the historic center where you can immerse yourself in the magic of Matera. Breakfast with typical products served professionally by the manager who entertains you with valuable advice from the area and tells you the history of Matera. Thank you!!! Matera will always be in my heart

After putting it off 3 times, we finally got to come. The structure is a 5 minute walk from Piazza del Seto, close to the center and in a short time you can also go down to the Sassi. The room was really beautiful and comfortable. Good breakfast both sweet and savory. It is also worth booking the Spa. The managers are very kind and helpful, they gave us many useful tips and gave us Matera bread as a gift on our return. Really good. I recommend the structure, it's worth it.

My spouse and I booked a night in the Deluxe Suite to close our trip, we were extremely disappointed by our stay. The Deluxe Suite, at over 200€ per night, has the in-room Jacuzzi that broke down upon arrival (depending on the reception). We wasted 2 hours of our evening trying to find the problem with the receptionist, to no avail. The solution is to enjoy the hotel’s spa the next morning, which is not possible because we are flying again. No other solution is offered! We express our dissatisfaction to the manager who is unsympathetic at will and does not even bother to speak to us in English. The least that could have been done would have been to refund the difference between a classic room and this suite which, incidentally, is beautiful but very damp because of the cellar several meters long that overlooks the room. Clearly, go your way!

We stayed for two nights here. Very friendly staff, superb room, with a jacuzzi in the cave. Breakfast quite varied (the proposals were different between day 1 and day 2). Very comfortable bed and excellent location, almost in the centre! Don't forget to arrange with the owners to collect your luggage from the car park: access to the hotel is quite difficult, especially if it rains! The TV worked "evil" (apparently a common problem in the Sassi di Matera).

We stayed 1 night, the people were very kind and prepared. Typical Matera room, immersed in the stone, spacious and very clean, magnificent view of the mega terrace in the heart of the stones. We'll be back soon!!!!

I was in room 20, booked by my tour provider. It was the smallest hotel room I have ever slept in, and would not recommend it.
There is a “spa” which looks like a small hot tub and sauna. Massage is not available. It’s 30 € extra. At Locanda nearby it’s 25 € for a massive series of saunas and pools and also had a great massage.
The breakfast was ok.
When I changed hotels the next day, there was no assistance available with my suitcase. Not usually an issue, but Matera is all stairs.

We got a very nice and comfortable suite. A little damp but considered normal as it is made from stones. Very nice location and in our case with a terrace with an amazing view. Professional and kind owners / staff and like all citizens proud to be from Matera and knowledgeable of the entire history of their fantastic city. Well done!

Lovely place, in the center of Matera that makes you breathe the authentic atmosphere of the stones. Very spacious room that combines stones with modern and quality furniture. The breakfast room is gorgeous. Bravo! I would definitely recommend it!!

Very nice hotel located in the heart of the stones si Matera. Super nice room and very spacious. Breakfast also well stocked with local products. Only negative note the hot tub not clean. Great humidity forms in the bathroom area which makes the floor slippery.
