Very nice location, old city center. Als few kilometers from the trainstation but the host picked me up by car. Very friendly people! Ik stay here alone in a room with 5 beds. Lucky me! I found this place while looking in Airbnb for an accommodation for one night while in Cosenza. I set the filters to show only "entire home" listings (for privacy purposes), so it was quite a disappointment to find out that it's actually a hostel. The pictures on Airbnb were wonderful, everything looked very antique. In fact, when you see it...

A bit hard to find in the narrow side streets of the old city centre, but this hostel was a clean and comfortable experience (although there were only 2-3 other travelers in the whole place). The owners speak English and were friendly and helpful in looking up info on nearby attractions, bus times, etc. Bathrooms were extremely clean, and a...

This is a truly wonderful hostel with very kind owners. Rooms are very good, the bathroom is very clean and the kitchen is huge and very well equipped. Combined with a great location, this is a hostel which I recommend with highly.

I really liked this place, too bad there were not a lot of other guests. Situated in a historic building (former palace) in the centre of Cosenza, high ceilings, classic furniture. Nice private bathrooms. Big but cosy kitchen. Breakfast is included and ok. Very good quality for the price!

Ostello Re Alarico lies in Cosenza's historical centre. It is led by a very friendly and very young Calabrian couple, Achille and Claudia. The Hostel is housed in an historical palace, just a few meters from the National Gallery of Calabria - Palazzo Arnone. When his family bought the palace, Achille applied to get some funds to restore it from...

We found this charming hostel in the AIG/IHA listings and were surprised at how comfortable and lovely it was. It is in the medieval part of Cosenza, which is a small town but is easy to get to. The owners picked us up at the train station, and were helpful in many ways. This is a great place to spend...
