The Albergo it's a bit old, but still offers the essencial. The room has enough space for a couple and some rooms with an amazing view to the Duomo. The breakfast is simple but complete. To stop the car they arranged everyhing for us.

The view from the room is to Piazza Saint Andrea and the Chiesa. The location can’t be beaten. The room + full bathroom are basic but have all you need. The breakfast was delicious, with pastries and croissant just baked.

Where do I start? The location is right in the heart of Amalfi, a bustling area. This did bring a little noise, but that is to be expected. From our room overlooking the Square, and the Church, we were serenaded by roving buskers, and we were even lucky enough to be there on the night of a Religious Celebration, with a procession including a Choir and a Brass Band. Just amazing. The hosts are just fantastic, making us feel like we were one of the family. The breakfast was great, consisting of Croissants, Coffee, Juice, Fruit, etc... I would definitely recommend Albergo Sant' Andrea.

I initially booked this hotel because it seemed really good value for the area. We stayed for five nights in June and it was excellent. The hotel isn’t 5* luxury but it is still wonderful, clean and has everything you need. Plus the staff are lovely and went out of their way to help us when needed. As a bonus, it is right in the centre of town making it easy to get to. I read some complaints about the noise levels before the trip due to the hotel overlooking the main square, we had no issues with noise and were comfortable throughout the stay. I would highly recommend this place!

Had a nice stay in Albergo Sant'Andrea for 3 nights in May 2019. The big thing on this place is location, location, location. Couldn't get much more central than this! Easy to get everywhere before the hustle and bustle of the tourist buses arrive. The price point of the hotel was really good for the location. We stayed in a room without a view, which over looked the internal court yard. Whilst it wasn't particularly nice to look at, we got a cheaper room because we didn't have the view, and we didn't spend time looking out of the window anyway! Nice little breakfast of cakes, ham and cheese, bread, teas and coffees. Tasty and filling. I think there may have been more options but this wasn't said to us, so maybe ask what options there are? Or some advice to the hotel to go through it all with customers. There was a kettle in the room which was great, but no cups etc. which was a little random, but there was no issues at all when I asked for some cups and tea bags at the little reception desk. Went for a tea across the road at Pansa pasticerria and it was €5 PER CUP which was insane. Slept well, shower was great - very powerful and hot. Don't stay in this hotel if you are expecting to have perfect silence after 9pm if you have your window open - you are literally RIGHT in the centre of Amalfi, which is the USP of this hotel, so there is noise and bustle from the town centre. The air con works really well, so if you are too hot, keep the window shut and put on the air con. I think you get what you pay for here. Don't expect a super modern boutique hotel, in a coastal town in italy where you aren't paying £300 a night (as there is in Amalfi!) I would definitely stay here again if I was near Amalfi again. A few tips from me: - the local buses (SITA bus) are a fab way to get around. An absolute bargain. Buy tickets for this and the ferry down at the ticket office which is on docks (next to a little restaurant) - the gardens in ravello are BEAUTIFUL, and the views are incredible and can be accessed by a SITA bus. Go as early as you can, before the big tourist buses arrive. - the ferry services are good, regular and cheap. - if you go over to Capri, make sure you go on the chair lift up to the mountain. the most breath taking view I have ever ever seen. So peaceful. Just wow. - we got to Amalfi using the Naples > Salerno train, then the Salerno > Amalfi ferry. This came to about €35-€40 for 2 people each way which compared to a transfer was a bargain! Some people say to take the circumvesuviana then the bus, however we wanted to see a bit more of the coast on the ferry and the trains are so comfy!
