Highly recommend staying at Locanda Costa D’Amalfi, place has great location, rooms are cleaned every day, breakfast is offered daily, with very friendly service. nearby restaurants and access to public transport help a lot. Thank you for making our family vacation great experience, we really appreciated your hospitality. Ciao Filomena, Emanuela and Pino, hope visit your again soon.
I know this is very individual but we thought the beds was to hard.
The traffic could sometimes be a bit noisy because the main road is passing nest to the hotel.
Filomena and Pino are extremely nice and kind people. We had a lot of pleasant surprizes on our honeymoon here.
It's not exactly in the city of amalfi, but around 4-5 km away. However, its location is a plus due to the proximity to the bus stop.
The rooms are small, but decorated with taste.
Do follow Filomena's advices for the trips around - we had a wonderful time on the amalfi coast thanks to her and her husband.
Apart from all this, breakfast was OK. Nothing special, toast, some cheese, a pastry and coffee. A.C was broken and we could never get it working correctly so we were either always too hot or too cold..not ideal! Overall our experience at this hotel was not acceptable and I would not recommend it to anyone. Honestly if you are going to go all the way to Amalfi, pay that extra bit of money for a nice hotel in an unforgettable location and make your holiday worth it. Otherwise stay in Positano, far more beautiful and a lot more to do.
Perhaps the most important part is that the hosts are friendly and available for questions and advice about possible excursions. I strongly recommend this hotel !
