From the moment you step on the property you are treated as royalty. Beautiful new hotel on the Amalfi coast. Huge credit to the architects and designers for creating a true gem in the middle of the Amalfi Coast. Professional stuff led by the hotel manager Alberto Gentilini makes any of your wish a reality. Incredible attention to detail with the personal card in the room and the desert upon your arrival. Special shoutout goes out to Luccia for making you feel right at home and for going extra mile to make you feel like a royalty.

We love coming to Italian island of Ischia & staying at the wonderful San Montano Resort & Spa . From their GM Mauritzio we’ve heard that they’re in the process of opening a sister property in Amalfi called Borgo Santandrea & since we’re huge fans of San Montano were excited to check it out . This September we finally did . So … there are hotels & there are HOTELS ! This is a magical place . The kind we were reluctant to leave. It’s perched on a cliff overlooking Mediterranean Sea . It is the only hotel on Amalfi coast with an honest to goodness REAL beach . No attention to detail has been spared & it shows. From in room amenities, ( Aqua Di Parma toiletries … I mean come on ) to staff uniforms , made for them in MILANO. Staff is very warm , gracious & helpful. Breakfast area has the most amazing view & the food is beautifully prepared . Loved the potted pomegranates & lemons . Borgo Santandrea has only been open a few months, so we felt like it’s our own secret place. But the word will get out soon enough. If you are lucky enough to score a room there , run don’t walk . Enjoy this truly magnificent place !

This hotel is very new, but it truly is special, the location the building the attention to detail. We had a boat with Joe (guiseppe) who was amazing, i proposed at the hotel and Marco at concierge bent over backwards to any requests and helped me over and over again. The views are spectacular and you have a private beach also. Given how new it is they have got it spot on. congratulations to the borgo team and i would most definitely visit again

There’s not too much else to say once you see the physical beauty and amazing location for this fabulous hotel. Just spectacular. This new hotel on the Amalfi coast has it all! The decor and the design is casually elegant and completely tasteful. The rooms are more than fantastic and the views are unparalleled. But it’s the little things that you find here that make it so special. The very sweet and attentive staff go out of their way to make you happy and wanting more. Since they just open, I can totally see that a visit in one year will be even more spectacular. Hotel is just getting polished up on the service and Little details. At this point they don’t miss too many tricks. The food program is very elegant and this super creative chef creates a very unique cuisine that will eventually be quite renowned in this region. One of the greatest features is the fact this hotel has its own stretch of beautiful beach. Very very few hotels have any beach access on the whole Amalfi coast. You take an elevator down to the beach club and a pebbled gorgeous seaside with very attentive service. I can imagine the beach scene getting more and more polished over time, But at this time it is still fantastic. Swimming in the sea of the Amalfi region is one of my favorite places to swim in the world. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. who wants elegant luxury with a low-key environment that caters to your every need. Don’t judge it yet, because they’re just getting started and pretty soon there won’t be anything in its league.

We were waiting for over 3 years for this property to open. Finally this September we were lucky to be guests at this magical hotel . Everything that we expected was many times more and better ! The location , the private beach , accommodation, furniture, service , dining scene - all get 5 plus stars . Honestly they truly should get more than 5 stars . Anyone who is thinking to come to Amalfi coast and not sure where to stay , it’s a no brainer . You must splurge, as Maurizio and his team created this fairytale and you don’t want this journey to end ! We can’t wait to come back next year and can only hope that we would be able to score a reservation as I am sure word will spread very quickly as this is absolutely the best luxury resort in Amalfi coast !
