Great hotel in amalfi. A little hard to find its off a small alley on the third floor of a building nesr the domo. But very clean nice staff delicious breakfast and a nice rooftop garden to enjoy the evening. The central location in amalfi was perfect. No parking so would probably work Best if you came in on the bus like we did

The previous reviews already speak for themselves. This hotel absolutely worth the stay. Centrally located in an alley just ahead of the main street, a few steps from the Piazza Dumo and the Cathedral. 5-minutes walking from the port and the Amalfi's main bus terminal. Just follow the steps as indicated in their website or put it into your map app to reach the place the first time to get there. You'll see how easy it is to reach it. Rooms are very spacious, clean an well-equipped. Comfy bed. Bathroom also clean, equipped and spotless. Wifi worked well all the days we stayed in. Breakfast is quite enough and yummy. Fresh juices, fruits, pastries everyday. Espressos (and all its variations) and cappuccinos are made on the spot. Front-desk and all personnel are truly nice, very attentive, helpful and polite. The hotel has also a rooftop with a lovely view to the bay. Some tables and chairs are ideally spread around just in case you decide to have a snack or a diner. It's so worth the try! And if needed, a market is down the street to supply the menu. All of these grant the merits and the high standing reviews L'Antico Convitto has deservedly received so far.

Stayed for 1-night. The staff is amazing. Front desk went out of their way to help me reserve and book bus tickets from Amalfi to Naples airport. They also stored my suitcases on checkout day fo a couple of hours so we could dine prior to our trip home. Breakfast was exceptionally good with plenty of typical Italian choices- cappuccino, pastries, boiled eggs, meats, cheeses, breads, yogurt, fruit, juice and more. The ladies working the dining room all have great, positive attitudes and are very friendly. Be sure to tip them! Lastly, rooms are immaculately cleaned by a wonderful housekeeper. Most, if not all employees speak some English.

Great location 5 minute walk to taxis buses and boats in the centre of town. We had a standard room with a peek a boo view of the water. Our friends had a bigger room with a sofa and the others had a junior suite with a huge jacuzzi and bathroom on the upper level. The rooms were spotless. The breakfast spread was plentiful with a great variety especially for the size of the hotel. The staff were very helpful with restaurant recommendations and any questions. Special mention to the owner and the breakfast ladies who made our visit very special

Beautiful trip!!! Let me start by saying my reservation was made in error when L’ Antico was closed and Gabriella honored our reservation! It was a wonderful experience. She made us a private breakfast every morning and brought this to our room as there were no other guests! Fresh eggs with cheese, warm bread, yogurt and oranges. At L’ Antico you feel like you are living in a village. We stayed 5 nights. It is their winter so not all restaurants were open but we did find some and everything was delicious. The rooms look out over a beautiful courtyard with orange trees. The view is amazing with high cliffs or lemon trees beyond. They have a balcony on the top floor that looks to the sea but it was cold up there and we only sat briefly. The residents hang their laundry and live simply. I don’t know how they do this in high season. Greeting each other and us. Local grocery store at the base of the hotel for anything you need. Quick walk to a beautiful black sand beach and bus station. Amalfi is centrally located and I picked it as there are no steep steps as my dad is 80 years old. We sat in the square with drinks all afternoon one day. We also sat near the pier when it was sunny. This is Gabriella’s home and she is so warm and friendly. I saw her out one night walking her dog and she made sure I was ok. (I was out doing laundry). I can’t say enough about this experience. Would highly recommend if you want an authentic experience.

Location is great. Right in the middle of town. Large room and bathroom. The drapes did not close enough to block out the morning light. Don't plan to sleep in as the church bells ring every day at 7am. Then bells from another church ring at 7:30. If you have a car, the hotel will give you the name of two parking lots. One is private and the other is the public lot. The public lot is quite a distance and not as secure. The private lot is very secure and a 5 minute walk from the hotel. It's a bit confusing because they close the street to cars during certain hours. If it's closed, just ask one of the police and they will allow you to enter the street if you're checking in. The breakfast was disappointing. The pastries were not fresh every day. We found mould in one of the jam jars. The next day they were all fresh jars. Cereal options were good for kids, not adults. If location is your number one priority, then I'd definitely stay here.

Good value for money and although a little tricky to find it’s in a great location and waking up to church bells delightful. Lovely roof top terrace looking at the church and they welcome you to take your breakfast up there . Not far up the road is a self serve laundry so a good location to catch up on travel washing and greet restaurants nearby. The rooms are a little dated but a comfortable bed and the bedroom was separate to a lounge room and bathroom so a good space with plenty of wardrobe space. For us the breakfast was not very satisfying. Breakfast cereals all sweet and other selections lacking. The ladies made us lovely coffee though so that and a croissant and off you go.

No wonder it’s rated #1 in Amalfi! Wonderful experience from Checkin to checkout including coffee and breakfast in the morning. Couldn’t have been cleaner either. Location is also amazing with a beautiful rooftop view and in the heart of where you want to be!

I can’t rave enough about this awesome little hotel in Amalfi. My extended family and I stayed here for a week. The rooms were very spacious, bright & clean - with good closet & drawer space. The location is excellent - right in the middle of town…but quiet. The breakfasts were very good. Our favorite feature was the large rooftop terrace with tables & chairs and incredible views. All of this at a reasonable price which included concierge services. Thank you, Gabriella, for making our stay so enjoyable! Marnie Roti, Scottsdale, AZ

5 stars for this lovely hotel. Perfectly located in the heart of Amalfi, tucked away from the Main Street yet close enough to all the action and beach. The personnel made it the best experience. Clean and beautiful, the breakfast was wonderful as well. Ciao, grazie mille!
