Great staff, good rooms, wonderful terrace with amazing views ! Amalfi is close by walk and great restaurants and beaches close. Michele is a warm and good host so a wonderful place to visit the amalfi coast.
We loved our visit! Francesca and "Mike" were super helpful and friendly, the room was very clean and with an amazing view!! I would definitely recommend! It's a little walk from Amalfi center but I think most hotels are We didn't bring a car, but they have customer parking! A rare bonus on the Amalfi Coast!
My husband and I stayed here during a recent trip. We thought it was great value. We had a nice room, were offered a lovely breakfast daily, and had spectacular views. We enjoyed the walk down the long winding stairway to town through lemon orchards and by quaint homes. We used the bus service from town each evening. It was prompt and very convenient. Parking spaces for vehicles were available. Also, the hotel is located on the main road to the Amalfi coast, which is convenient for those traveling by car/car service in that direction.
The hotel is beautifully designed. The rooms have a balcony and every window in the hotel shows a wonderful view of Amalfi. The reception and staff are very kind and accommodating. The downside is it’s a bit tricky to get to the city center but the receptionist is kind to show you different ways on how to get there. One time it was hard to get a taxi going back to the hotel as it was Christmas time and there were many people but the hotel offered to pick us up personally. The breakfast is lovely and delicious, so nice to enjoy while looking at the coast. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. It’s a very romantic, nice, and peaceful place to stay in if you do not mind being far from the city center. Really enjoyed my stay here ❤️
Our charming hosts booked this small hotel for our group. The breakfasts, while served on the continent, were far from continental. Premium teas, coffee in silver urns, Italian pastries and fresh fruit, served in a sunroom that looks out upon the water. The décor in the rooms is somewhat dated, but you only have to move out onto the balcony to be moved to tears. I took a photo at sunrise that is like something out of a postcard. I'm not the only one; one of our Italian hosts texted a photo that I thought was from TA, but it turned out that she'd taken it herself from her balcony. One teensy quibble, hardly worth mentioning - when we checked in I specifically told the front desk clerk that we would pay for our own room, not our Italian hosts. He agreed. When we checked out, the clerk told us that the bill had been paid in full months earlier. It is a hike from the town. Walking along the winding mountain road is downright dangerous. Instead, take the stairs to the lower town. If you can't find them then ask the clerk where they are. It was wonderfully warm in October, and the crowds were manageable. Parking is, of course, a challenge. Not sure if it was free. Can't comment on the cost or value of the room because, again, we didn't pay.…
